Set the Stage on Sunday

Thinking of the Canada storms last night and hoping all is well with SHE friends and families.

Our temperatures took a 30 degree drop! The 100F degree days are gone and we have returned to our normal temperatures for this time of the year.

Attendance at Sunday School was the highest ever, however Church attendance was way down this morning. Who knows why? There could be many reasons. I know a few people are sick, in hospital or contagious. Our pastor was absence because he has strep. Our next-door neighbor family is in quarantine because they have c19. Kids ballgames are also being played on Sunday which reduces church attendance. I get so much from attending church that I want to share it with everyone.

My dd lives on the opposite side of Lake Ontario from me. She is on the west side of Toronto near the lake. She had damage on her balcony. We had absolutely no damage, although it did get dark and windy for us. It rained hard for a couple of minutes and when the rain stopped, so did the wind. Then the clouds cleared up and it got sunny.

Walked the ddog.
Weeded one bed counts for stretching. .
Had a bit of lunch.
Napped.
Got my marigolds planted they were very root bound.
Cooked shrimp in my new teal pot!

We had brunch with dd then I came home and napped. It's been a quiet day here. Storms are to start up again, we have several unsettled days beginning.

I have to be out of the house early for a hair cut in the morning. Dreading that, I always dread mornings when I have to be out so early. (How did I ever get to work in the morning?)

Hello! I didn't know Canada had storms last evening. We have had a little bit of rain recently, but not much. We need more.

I watched my online service while I was cleaning up the office. Not a good practice, I get way more out of a service when I actually sit and watch or attend. But then Sunny was watching her service in the kitchen and I sat with her and watched a very nice service there.

Office is organized and cleaned pretty much from top to bottom. Has been needing done for a while. I vacuum the floor regularly, but the shelves and desk tops needed sorted and organized and wiped. Glad to have that done. I even did DH's drafting table with its compartment tray attached to the side. Been a long while since that has been cleaned out and reorganized. Now if I can just get him to stop working this will remain cleaner for a long while.

Guess I should see to dinner. I have been reading posts, but it's hard to keep up if I don't come back to the actual computer. Posting from a phone is an awful process. I have lots to get caught up, several emails and lots of reading; I just shudder to think of my email box. I did recently pay a couple bills online and yesterday I reconciled a bank account. So, I'm keeping up, not as good as I usually did, but it's all ok.

I stopped my work in the yard.
I got a lot planted, some weeds done and marked off where the dry river bed will be.
dd made dinner - yay
my d brother is supposed to come by and drop of a rug he cleaned for dd older.

tomorrow I am hoping to buy the bigger stones for the dry river bed and the pea gravel to start the project

I’m seeing a very good recommendation on a site that ranks it above the Apple Watch and Fitbit. It’s on sale right now at half the cost of Fitbit.

Awe. It is frustrating with our technology failures.

I don't know anything about Kore smart watches. Sorry.

The only thing I've heard about other than FB isZururu that is recommended by a youtuber that I watch.

I'm firmly in FB brand because of the group that I have challenges with each week. We have been together for years. I find it very motivating to have these weekly challenges with IRL people that I know. Which devlce you choose depends on what information you want to receive from it.

This week is THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL. Excitement is high! I can turn off the school alarms after this week.

Church was excellent tonight. I was a little surprised when I realized that I knew the name and have a relationship with every single person attending. We have been attending this church for a couple of years and I am finally feeling like I'm not a newbie.

Not sure I can help either, Lucylee. But, I can tell you that at least twice in the last couple of months we thought Dh's Charge 3 had completely died. Trying to think what we did. Seem to remember just putting it on the charger and it reset itself -probably eventually. Just can't remember.
