Everyone must being busy be "mighty" today. Lunch out was nice, a bit overlong, then I stopped at WF for portobellos and flowers, dropped off at home, and on to Publix. Now to finish putting things away. Also got a one serving cheese cake for the friend who had his birthday last week. His wife is a vegan, so can't eat most desserts, dh can't eat dessert and I don't need to. We have fruit and whipped cream for dessert too. Not very exciting.

Menu is otherwise steak, corn on cob and green beans.

I feel like I've run out of steam. Dh has gone to Costco.

Italian sausage, potatoes, onions and red peppers cooked on the stove and then transferred to the oven for dh. Oktoberfest sausage fried on the stove for me. Rye bread for me as well. I might have some of dh's veggies.

I am hitting a tired spot. right leg is hurting. oh well, they can call me gimpy - I feel like the sailors, in the old movies, with the peg leg today.
our ground is saturated with the rain that we have had for the last couple days. I lost all but 2 of my coneflowers as the ground is too wet. It's so weird that we are still drenched - I expect the soaking rains in April and the beginning of may; not now.
I haven't planted corn! - I think I will have to have raised beds next year. Too expensive this year.

I put the hammock together again,
planted agapanthus
got some more potting soil
moved the small iron table and two chairs out of the patio
moved dd older's chaise lounge (needs to be power washed).
tossed garbage
took saw horses and set them up in the garage along with swing set that I have been staining
turned on dw.
more put away.
pulled wood out of back yard to dry. all the rain soaked the wood.
pulled recycling
cleaned out a pipe
set up the new umbrella

what still needs doing: move light weight hose to front and set it up.
blow the leaves etc.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Mighty big storm over head here.
Made a quick trip to town cut it short.

I am tuckered out. Vacuuming the sanctuary between/behind/in front of the 20 pews is not for the faint of heart. The person who normally does it is a tiny lady about 100lb and about my age. She obviously has stamina and strength beyond what she looks!

I made BGS (big green salad) with meat for my lunch. I cooked multiple vegetable stir fry with some meat for my dinner. I cooked DS13 a skillet of potatoes and smoked sausage. DH ate with his DMom when he took her to chiropractor appt. DD10 is visiting DD44.

I have completed all my to-do's for today. I am ready to stop for the day.
