going back to working on:
When everything seems a challenge/over-whelming; then I am over my clutter threshold and my ability threshold.
I have a low threshold too having too much and doing too much.
what will take me most of the summer.
Stay focused on my one project: the back dry river bed/wooded area and don't go any farther until that is done.
Put away boxes/things from moving.
Do some fun stuff: beach, take dh a place or two, botanic gardens

Re: P & P Thursday PWYC
Yes mowing day here. I fueled up the mower and got it out and ready to go for later on nine-ish.
It was in the seventies yesterday very pleasant to do outside stuff.
Neighbor Kids went up the street playing in the pool at granny's.
Inside stuff needs done but rain on the weekend might be the day for that.
I did do up the dishes and spiff up the counters.
Had bfast. Bs was great today.
I never out grew naps!

Nancy's comment on her blood sugar reminded me that Dh's has been running high, even with the changes in diet that he's made. He woke up one day this week at 190. I think he's going to talk to his doc about medications. He could get more exercise but he's at a good weight and is eating relatively well. I know that's weighing on him too, that he was so heavy for so long and now that he's at a good weight is diabetic.

Re: P & P Thursday PWYC
dh is very crabby - understandably so - we had planned on going to the family reunion in Kentucky but his bp is giving him problems. He seems well enough but I am sure he is afraid his symptoms we flare up again especially in the heat. He feels guilt and sadness for not being there. I would love to spend time with them as well but I can see dh's worry and I would rather he be happy and safe. He won't go to the dr. and say no to the drugs he is on; which have given him nothing but trouble since he has been on them.
another 45 minutes have gone by - I am hoping that as I work on the daily routine that the time will get less and less.

Re: P & P Thursday PWYC
Enjoyed coming here to a day to appreciate Pam and Peggy's smart ideas.
Once upon a time I "outgrew" naps, but I think it was artificial, brought on by circumstance and perpetuated by overwhelm. I believe my natural state has always been napable.
Out on the biggest errand this a.m., picking up the main grocery order. Although I was smart to choose the earliest pickup time, still, mistakes were made.
(meaning duplications, that sort of thing) It was a chore getting everything stowed away here.
I am so glad that I don't have outdoor animals to care for right now. The heat is beyond beyond. The humidity is like a weight.
Next up is a kitchen spif.

45 minutes done again
landscapers are here
I finished setting up the hutch in the dining room - no more boxes. dh started to spread out again in that area so I had him put things away again in the drawers
I am hungry already!!!
But first the front room.

~~~~waving Hello to all~~~~~
I too was surprised at Cathy's temperatures. AND grateful that she is giving it in Fahrenheit, so I don't have to do the conversion from Celsius
My life seems to be on a fast moving forward motion with plenty of balls to juggle (and the potential for dropping).
DH is at the dentist this morning getting some repairs done to something...cavity?...dentures? I can't remember what part they are repairing. He just needs to show up and recline in a dental chair to let them do their thing.
DBro called with a hour long chat telling me his doings.
DGS15 is remaining stable with the damaged kidney leaking reducing each day. The medical team is voting to put DGS15 on complete bed rest and let kidney heal. There is a chance they will get to go home in near future. I'm not sure how they will accomplish that but I'm sure they can do it. They can ambulance him home or they have a 30+ foot RV available so DGS15 can lay down & travel the 200+ miles comfortably. DS48 and DDIL are both type A and extremely capable of problem solving. I am soooo incredibly grateful for the outcome of DGS15 accident. It has been stressful facing unknowns, but things have worked out for the best outcome possible.
Speaking of hoping for the best outcome.....
DD11 is on her way home as I type. They ended her camp a day early and sent everyone home because there is a virus/flu happening. Thankfully, no one is testing positive for C!9 on home test. But whatever it is very contagious with increasingly getting sick. The symptoms are high fever and stomach upset. DD11 isn't sick.... yet. She is currently making the 2-hour trip home in a 15-passenger van. What's the chance one of her friends isn't contagious and breathing in/out sharing those germs in that van.....*sigh*
DS13 is working outside on the business end of a shovel while they are laying water lines. I just took him a couple bottles of electrolytes.
