Good morning! Thanks for starting us off, Dee! I do hope your DH doesn't push himself too hard. Oh, goodness, about that house story! And with a new baby!

I hope you have a quiet, relaxing day, Twins. (Well, after that backsplash thing. Have fun choosing!) Glad you were able to make that charcuterie board appear!

blessed, when you are stuck on the all or nothing regarding your floors, just think, Mystery does hers hardly at all, so anything I do will mean I am doing better than her! :D

Glad you got a good night's sleep, Nancy!

Waving at LadyM, too!

Happy birthday to lucylee's DH!

I did get my jar of black currant jam made last night -- it only took about an hour, though I do still have some cleanup. I left the pan to soak overnight, and there are a couple of things that need to be hand washed, and DH had stuff drying in the sink drainer last night. Went online to see about getting another bush, and it looks like ours could use a good pruning this winter.

In addition to cleaning up after the jam, I need to spend some time cleaning the kitchen today.

Thanks for thinking about dh 'pushing himself too hard'. Exactly my thought. He does see his GP tomorrow morning and I have to think about questions I want him to ask. Hoping he'll say he should see his cardiologist earlier than the end of the month. Not entirely happy with the gastro DR's appointment not being until October 3rd either. This to find out where he's bleeding from????? -now? And the cardiologist says he can't do anything about the Afib until that's taken care of for sure. My hair is getting thinner! :|

Twins, I just finished the remainder of my Eggplant Parm for lunch so got 5 meals from it and I never grew tired of it.

Here I is… in bed with some sort of stomach/gut bug that’s had me in bed for a few days. Had a few pieces of toast, a bowl of oatmeal and some chicken broth for since Thursday

I’ll be back when I’m feeling better

Oooh, thanks for letting us know and hope you're able to get back to normal soon, RR.

We chose tile for the backsplash. I'm wondering what's going on with dh, he was very, very passive aggressive. "Whatever she wants." Then stalking around bringing out something else to try. He had it in his mind that he wanted gray tile. I would have gone with white grout, then compromised to light gray. Then he wanted darker gray so I ended up one step darker.

Hi! Glad to see Ramblin here. I was a bit concerned that something had happened with your DMother.

And thank you, LadyM, for the video about the Jetsons. I loved that cartoon! Knew about the birthday because it hit our national news station as an important news item the other day. Every time I watched it I worried about the dog falling off the treadmill and floating off into space, never to be retrieved.

We have some darker clouds right not. Sure need some rain. Yesterday it rained enough to darken the road, but not enough to make a mark in the gauge.

Dee, I hope they don't make so many changes in your park that it become difficult for you to live there.

I'm not making much progress on my lists but that could be because I'm still adding to it. I was all over the place this morning, started a couple things, then decided I needed to work on the most important thing. Got that online bank thing straightened out. It wasn't very easy. I got stumped right away getting in with the temporary stuff the gal gave me. Finally got in somehow and had to fill out a bunch of stuff to get my "documents" online. Wasn't sure what I was doing with all that but must have done something right because I found statements. Gal at bank didn't answer her phone and I couldn't change all the temporary stuff she gave me. She was stumped also after she called back. She was conferring with another gal and I figured it out before they could. Hummmpf.

Anyway, that's done. Dragging me kicking and screaming into this century with all this electronic stuff.

Just watered house plants. Daily stuff done. 1 sewing project barely started, well, gathered together and thought about. Progress like a snail around here.

Hoping not too, Harmony. But, I'm more concerned about DS-R and DD's families able to stay here. We're kinda stuck for the foreseeable future as we have no place to go up here without starting all over. We're not ready to stay in FL all year but it may come to that at some point. Just not going to worry about it and see what happens in another few weeks. Worry only steals our joy anyway.

As I posted Art, Craft and Needlework I thought to myself that it's about time (don't get mad) to post a 2022 Holiday thread. How, I wonder, will Organized Home plans affect site-support of the holiday calendars/ideas/printables. Perhaps not at all? HGP would be an end-of-August start, possibly the 28th, and CC a 3rd-week-October start, possibly the 23rd.
