1. Drive to store groc shop.
2. Drive to park walk & watch dgd cheer practice.
3. Drive home unload rig & put away food.
4. Do watering in back to see if new sprinkler works yep it does.
5. Do mending on pj's Done.
6. Did my planning & journaling.
7. Dishes & dump trash are done.
8. Delighted to say dgd made cookie dough with out egg to eat "raw", two kinds from a recipe she found and a cheese cake from a mix.

I got the "can't find site" message today but 2nd time trying it was ok. I always have the message that the site isn't secure. Been getting that for years.

Got my days and nights mixed up. Napped a good part of yesterday. Today I had to play catchup. Night routine last night done this morning. As long as I don't quit doing it permanently, we're ok.

Folded sheets washed a few days ago. Washed the new sheets.

Getting busy around here. DH has lab tests coming up and a stress test (which he has to change his routine for) and we have signed up for a pizza dinner at an unfamiliar place just before all that other stuff. Have to keep an eye on the calendar. I still have not been able to talk to the scheduling lady at other Drs. office. Annoying. Has been over a month trying to get that scheduled.

I 'hear' you on not being able to talk to a scheduler, Harmony. Big problem at dh's gastro doctor. His cardiologist and GP both are very good.

Homeschool is done.

DS14 is continuing his buy/sell adventures. Today he is listing a Suzuki dirt bike he bought a couple of weeks ago. He has decided he doesn't like this bike....AND...he bought a Honda dirt bike yesterday that he wants to put his time and effort toward. If all goes with his plan, he will sell the Suzuki for triple what he paid for it. He researched what price similar bikes are being sold. He asked me "Can I be arrested for making too much profit selling a dirt bike?" I had him repeat the question to make sure I understood what he was asking. I told him "No, you cannot be arrested for making a profit." I encouraged him to be honest as possible in telling the buyer everything he knows is wrong with the bike. Every dollar of these purchase transactions is being funded by himself. He either earned the money by working and/or from previous profit from buying/selling equipment. I don't know what school class this would be considered, but he is learning many life lessons from the IRL experiences.

I used an electric knife to cut up a bone-in ham and then fried the ham slices. I bought a big ham for the bone to use in cooking a pot of beans. The ham slices will be used for sandwiches or in other dishes.

My excitement is building. Today is our last day of 100+ degree heat. AND we are supposed to get some rain on Sunday. Two very much anticipated weather events are in the near future.

Next up - Painting walls then get DD11 from school.

well I did a lazy - I called the tile cleaner as his machines can really clean this tile. I wonder if I need to seal the tile but the grout needs to be repaired. The company had done it in spring and didn't need someone to give me a price - this time they are sending someone tomorrow. I wonder if that means they will charge extra this time.
I have been scrubbing the wood bottom trim and the tile/stone along the edge. Lots of wispy time spiders running away from me vacuuming. I can't get it cleaned like they can. I could rent a machine but the rental was similar to the work done in spring.

I want to finish an e-library book before it is due to be returned, but I keep falling asleep. It’s a good book — that’s not the problem.
Also need to start WHB vacuuming. It’s best if I split it up into two days.

Blessed - it sounds like you made a smart decision on tile cleaning.

DD11 had an enjoyable day in school although she still has no books. She said they are still going over the rules in 3 of her classes (for 3 days???), 2 of her classes the teacher is reading a book to them. One of the classes (Art & Music) had their first assignment today to write what they think of Jazz music. I don't know why the lack of school being done is bothering me because I'm not going to complain to the teachers or pull her from public school. I need to let it go and trust they will eventually start teaching to the state test learning.

Supper tonight was pick you own = Sonic hamburgers for the kids, a subway wrap for DH and leftovers for me.

I did some wall repair earlier and have been waiting for it to dry so I can paint. That is up next.

A birthing day for me, yes. Dd23 is dd24.

Happy for lucylee's proud moment as family sang together. That's really nice.

I may have to sort my PODA of the day into Ds later... ..

But wanted to report I was a good Grandma (and HRH a good Grandpa) when dd42's youngest had a computer mouse quit in the middle of a live lesson. (yipes) Dd called for help, HRH pirated his number-3 computer's mouse and I DROVE it over lickety-split. (a D)

Whew. Dd was having to try all kinds of hacks for him to try to get "heard" at all much less able to really participate. At first, he didn't like it because it is definitely a MAN's mouse, built for a large hand, and he couldn't get his little fingers around it comfortably! But when she plugged it in and it lit up with the very cool lights, he was thrilled. All of a sudden, this mouse fits his hand perfectly and he called Grandpa to ask if he could keep it, lol. Of course, it would be SO sad for HRH to have to go shopping for new interesting mouse - what a hardship, lol!

Dishes were done super well because I am trying to figure out whether I want a countertop dishwasher. HRH is not impressed and thinks we should hire a carpenter for a real installation. Don't know. Ya'll know I am nothing if not ... um ... thrifty. It will take me forever to decide to let go of that money if it's not necessary. So, I was seeing if, instead, I think I could live without the 21 x 21-inch space on the counter or not. Thinking.

What's a "D" for plants? "Digging" is a word that is a little ambitious for the tedious transplanting I've done today, but I'll go with it. Ya'll kept hearing about how my African Violet went hog wild with extraordinary bloom after we moved here and it got more sun, a different environment. Well, whenever you hear that in the future, you might want to think to yourself, "oops, red flag!". I think it is an idiosyncrasy of the particular plant that it was nearing death and setting babies. The poor thing just started to collapse, causing me to take a youtube crash course in propagating leaves, of which I was able to try two. They are in the windowsill under plastic now for several weeks so far, as the parent plant has continued to fail until today it is completely gone. Both leaves I cut, however, look exactly as they did that day - you'd think there was a time machine. And I understand it can take months for new growth to happen - if it happens. So, a mystery. Time will tell.

Little known to me, however, my big mama plant had made two babies before I lost it. One is thriving so large that I potted it up today with the same soil plus new, trying to baby the root system since I have no idea how much is necessary to it. I was shocked during the procedure to find the second, and because I didn't know about it at first, I fear I was too rough with the tiny thing. It is like a dollhouse-sized plant, too small for a thimble. I treated it the same as the 2 leaves were treated, again because I am so ignorant, and am hoping.
