Rain rain go away. Come again some other day. It's been raining for a few hours and pretty hard too.

I was just getting ready to go outside when DH came to me and wanted to go to the beach. Awww, I had other plans.... but he really wanted to go and doesn't like to go alone, so off we went. Just to the little local one and we floated around for a bit. The tide was out so I walked way out there. The floor isn't really nice sand, it's sand and vegetation. So I did get some exercise in anyway.

By the time we were back and had showers it was 2 1/2 hours used up. Then I needed a nap, so maybe I'll get to that garden work tomorrow afternoon. Hoping.

Yep, Penn State Nittany Lions. Former Coach Joe Paterno. Lots of tradition there, but they weren’t expected to win so big. (They were favored 3 1/2 points, actually.)

Oh well. You win some, lose some. (Although we’re going to be getting a lot more of the “lose some” as this season goes on, I’m afraid.)

We are headed home, of course. Just stopped to eat and we will be home in a couple hours.

Realized I did not get to laundry so the last load is in the washer.
Been finding things I can ket go of that helps one or two items in varios zones.
Realizing summer is nearly over just is sad to me.
