I am not a plumber. I am not mechanically minded. I am not limber and strong.
But yet, you are still able to do these things! IMHO, you don't give yourself enough credit for what you know how to do. You keep doing things that totally astound me. POTB!

I've done some planning for the week It is another week of eating out multiple times (6 events) which makes me wonder if I should just throw my hands up and give up on eating healthy. Reminding myself to quit being a whiner and in defeated mode. 3 meals x 7 days = 21 meals for the week. Less than 1/3 of them are eating out so that leaves me 15 meals to make healthy decisions.

The weekend nurse called in cipro for DMIL just in case she has a uti. DMIL loses her ability to think clearly when she has a uti so they are doing this as a precaution. They will be delivering that medication here this afternoon and I will sign for it.

Next up - deliver some things that DH forgot to take. He needs them now so I will be making 2 trips to DMIL house this afternoon.

>>edited<<<

I'm back home from DMIL home. She has started eating again. She was sitting at the kitchen table eating a snack size butterscotch pudding cup while I was there. She didn't know any of us, but she was content and happily telling us about events that I've never heard of. We didn't correct her but just listened to her stories and told her how much she is loved.

Mon. S.O.A.P.

What is this?

LucyLee - I'm right there with you on the planner consideration & decision. After 3 years of consideration, I think you should get it! Bonus is finding it on sale. The past couple of weeks I have had a tab open while considering a a digital planner and wondering if I would use it enough to justify the time and expense of getting it.

I have been playing with indoor plants. I have several bags of pebbles that I bought to use in the outside garden, but then I changed my mind and didn't use them. The bags of pebbles have been waiting to find a use for them. I am using part of the pebbles in the trays that hold pots of indoor plants. I have 3 reasons for doing this, but I don't know if any of them will work. The only way I will know is to try it.

The day has absolutely gotten away from me!! Didn't get 1/2 done what I'd planned for various reasons. Essentially too many interruptions I guess.

Got dh's meds ready for morning and mine too. Decided I'd take my Thyroid med around 4am and put the rest of mine in my purse to take at the hospital later. It's only 6:15 but I'm planning on hitting the hay by 7 and hopefully at least doze during the night. I never sleep well when I have to get up for an early morning appointment. Dh has to be there by 6am. Our friends across the road advised us that the best way to go was to do Valet parking. I looked it up and it doesn't open until 6 but I think we'll be ok. It's $7 to park but that's ok. Sure it'll be better than us trying to get in there from the parking garage. Might get a discount since it's an outpatient procedure. So hoping this procedure does the trick. Can't imagine being shocked like that with no sedation. :? Dh was really having one of his really bad days today.

Dh never wants anyone feeling bad for him and his pat phrase is "Piece of cake!". I finally told him today that it really bugs me. Told him if I was telling someone 'good luck or words to that effect, with your procedure' or whatever and they said that to me I'd feel like they didn't want me addressing the issue with them at all. Told him he could say, "Thank you for your concern, thoughts, prayers. I appreciate it." Guess what? I've noticed several times today when people have wished him well tomorrow he's said just about those same words.

Heading toward bed. Will do an update sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Well, I did it. Got the planner on its way and some digital downloads available immediately ($10 extra, regular cost $21, I think.) The planner is usually $64 (eeeek!) but for 24 hrs, it is $46, if any of y’all are interested. Till 6:00 pm CST tomorrow.
I did NOT order stickers. I love keeping a journal/planner, but I need space to write; I can’t cover my pages with a bunch of decorations like some people do.

I had a short nap after all that going and doing this afternoon, and now we are on our way to eat supper.

Praying for Mr Dee (and you, Dee!) for all to go well tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing the SOAP method, Nancy. I had been meaning to ask you about that.

(((Dee)))

Our Interim pastor was ordained tonight. He has been filling the role of Lead Pastor for the past 4 months and now it is official.

After church DS14 went to the gym. I will pick him up at 9pm.

DD11 is taking a shower & washing her hair. I can hear her singing. :)

Next up - check if we need anything from Sam's and if so, place an order to be picked up when I'm in the city tomorrow.

I learned the soap method when we studied a book from Rick Warram. I've since thrown out all of his books. I guess the method is ok except it doesn't delve very deeply into what the verse actually means, similar verses, etc. I'm glad we don't study scripture from other people's books. We don't study other authors, we study the Bible!

OK off my soap box.... for once it didn't rain today. Figures, when we didn't have any paint and couldn't go outside to paint.

Tomorrow early DH goes to his GP. I will go with him. We will pick up more paint on the way home.

(Dee) You and your DH are in my prayers for tomorrow's procedure.
