Waving... Iwas up in the nite again good news is that I was able to finish a journal. Lots of thoughts were rambling in my head as I had heard a yt vid. before bed on nono writing. I've already accomplished the project I was considering for nono, so I had others to consider.
I put more journals on my wish list  LOL!
I still need to do my bujo & planning.

BS was good again this a.m.
Trash is at the curb.
I need to get on the stat bike then shower.
[I tried on the pj's & now I can hem them. Anto p. task from yesterday that I did not get to. ]
I have a meal plan for the day in my head.

Better today still on the mend.
I can go out deciding what day that will be.
Joann's is finally showing they have some fall items yesterday in that I have been waiting for.

On my walk today I did an extra loop, I was joined by a 14 y.o. boy and his new puppy that was just learning to walk.
Made it really interesting.
Had lunch.
Napped.
Looked in my journal stach and picked a couple for use later.
Then picked half bucket of onion sets.

Hello, everyone.

Ramblin' it's encouraging to hear that you are okay even though it was so hard. How helpful that you preserved the receipt for the purchases. Nature replenishes so quickly that sometimes we can be surprised - although beaches, not so much, of course. Still, beauty returns. Many things to appreciate do surprise in a different way. High hopes for your community.

LadyM's family on my mind. I'm sure dh is very tired. So glad the sound and smoke were something in an appliance, not something regarding the house itself.

blessed
, have a dd take a photo of you sometime in one of those broad-brimmed hats, ribbon, with lovely blooms around you. She doesn't have to take one that shows the shorts! I will admit to you that I do actually go out to the flowers here in a dress rather often, because it will be a housedress in which I'm working generally. I'll think of the porch, sweeping, or checking on small limbs that might have fallen into the beds overnight, and just go out there in the same dress. No, not a very Victorian, or romantic look, however.

It is toilet cleaning time here. :)
Finished the towel and mat laundry last evening.
Scrubbed the bathtub minimally.
Need to do that again with better cleaner.

d harriet - I used to love house dresses - but I never felt like I wanted to work - I still have my grandmothers no sleeve house dress hanging in my closet so that I can see it all the time!

I kind of imagined this: https://morninglavender.com/collections ... maxi-dress with a lovely hat (of course that young figure).

yay on your work d Harriet, d Nancy, d twins, d dee, d Kathryn, d cathy, d lady, d mystery, d Lucy,d rose, d harmony - checking in, d everyone!

1:50 pm.
I came in to check in. more weeding done. I need to water as the soil is very dry.
I am considering buying more compost as the young man is coming Saturday - the soil needs love for the winter.
I was bummed today as the free bricks on fb market place (near me) are gone already.
I really wanted them. oh well. it's okay bc they are probably blessing someone else.

see you soon.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Funny the mention of house dresses today. I put away my summer dressing gown in the back corner of my closet today and spotted my 'duster' (that's what I used to call them.) I had bought it in the spring of 2020 when I thought I might be pressed into helping with a newborn baby. I bought it to cover all my street clothes (to go along with masking and scrubbing hands and arms.) It was never used. Who knows, though, maybe someday. So it hangs in the back of my closet.

I s2s and put away all the clothes that were hung up to dry, ate breakfast, replaced my vacuum bag and filters and did a bit of light work on the balcony digging up a plant and putting the dollar store fall decorations in the planter for autumn. Also put away a few of the more summery things. Not much is out, the balconies weren't set up this year for them to be power washed. Which happened at the end of August instead of the expected mid June so the whole summer was lost.

Dh called and we chatted a bit. He was able to show me the apartment in Oslo which is said was tiny. It looked twice the size of the cabin at Hay Lake so didn't look small to me!

I worked upstairs until the 2 p.m. Zoom meeting. I had decent focus and got things done. Zoom meeting mostly unproductive, although it's nice to have a cheerleader too. After the meeting I had lunch, then went out to drugstore, grocery and dry cleaners.

So I need to get in the shower soon. Dh is punctual and then some, so I suspect he'll want to leave here at six, even though it takes sixteen minutes to get there. Even with the fast tonight into tomorrow I'm not sure I'll want to eat again before we go....

I've been to have oil changed/tires rotated. The service manager is a friend/neighbor here at the campground and he applied a 20% off coupon for me. I'll take all I can get right now. Stopped at McD's after that and brought dh a strawberry/banana smoothie. Everything tastes so metallic to him but he said he could taste this a little bit. Also bought 2 fish sandwiches for our dinner. I think I wolfed mine down.

DGD27 was texting me while I waited for the car. She just went back to work last week (she's an RN in the obstetric ward in a local hospital). But I guess she's off again now as both she and their 4-month old have Covid. Surprising as her dh had it back in August a day after they'd all been with us here. They've all been so careful through this whole thing and who knows where they picked it up. Know they've had all their vaccines. Reminds me dh and I have to go get out booster too. Just trying to time it so if we have any reaction we can weather through that. We will be getting our '22 flu shots next Thursday and Friday.

I see I had a call from my lawyer's office this afternoon. Someone will be calling me tomorrow between 3-5. Here I go getting nervous again.

I forgot they were called dusters! gosh that's been a while since I have heard that

hello d twins
hello d Kathryn
hello d Nancy
hello harriet
hello d dee
hello d lady
hello d everyone

3:28 pm check in.

more weeding.
I have lots of Columbine seedlings through out the back. I am wondering if I will regret having put some in this year.
dh says we are going to have a hard frost this Saturday so I will have to cut down my Hosta plants so that they aren't all mushy.

mom has no idea that her memory is off but she is much happier -- yesterday oh my she was nasty. I pray I don't get that way for my kids and dh's sake. I have already started to apologize to them now just in case.

drinking a kale drink and it's really good - I don't like Kale but I like this.
time to continue on so that I can water the back.

Go ahead, Blessed! There's many who just leave theirs up from the prior year and people think they've just put them up a little early. So much smarter than trying to fight the elements later on.
