I feel like I've been going in 20 directions.

Twins - Thanks for the heads up about fitbit. The website shows to be down and the fitbit android app isn't working correctly. I'm making a note that I have 3k steps at 11am in case those steps disappear.

DS14 did 8 homeschool assignments. I monitored his progress and grade. He is highly motivated to get his schoolwork done.

We had a fella come to look at the garden fencing project and a different overhead project in the garden that I want done. He did measurements and took some notes. He will develop a plan, material list and an estimate for labor. I expect this to be expensive, but the garden is something that I use every day, so I consider it money well spent. The garden is multi-purpose by being my happy place, my exercise place, home to the rabbits, and it also provides loads of fresh vegetables, fruit, and flowers. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. :)

We have no water. I went on FB to find a notice from the town saying they are replacing the water line about 1/2 mile from us. I assume this is an emergency replacement since they didn't give us any notice.

Lunch is homemade burritos and Frito pies.

Some of the people raising chickens around here are noticing the chickens quit laying eggs when using some brands of commercial feed. These are the same brands of chicken food they have used for decades. When they switch away from those brands then the chicken start laying eggs again. It makes no sense why this is happening all at once.

Water is back on! Sometimes I need to be reminded how thankful I am to have running water.

Fitbit website/app is working again. I am thankful for that also.

The mayor called and asked DH to run for city council seat. DH first reaction was NO, but after talking about it he is considering it. He needs to file by Wednesday to be on the next ballot.

I am staying on track with my hourly tasks. I am currently on my 9th hour.

Thanks, Kathryn, for the avian information. I looked at it; it updates every Wed afternoon. In our county we have no commercial or backyard flocks infected. But from the chart on wild birds, they had a hooded Merganser die with it in our county. I bookmarked the site to check now and then. Anyway, now I know why eggs have been so expensive. Does this get passed with mosquitos? Every once in a while they give an alert and tell us to wear long sleeves and pants...for something.... but we haven't had a notice like that in quite a while. I've noticed there are hardly any rotisserie chickens any more.

I don't know where the time has gone today. I caught the mail lady with a few things this morning. Then I taped and addressed my packages and took them to the post office. Couple things off my mind. While I was there I got the text from pharmacy and headed over there next. Got that and a couple quick bread/muffin mixes to make for our fellowship at the beginning of our study on Friday. That's what I signed up for.

And... for the first time in ages I misplaced my car in the parking lot. I know what I was thinking when I parked... but got confused, and I walked up and down the same aisles several times before I finally found it. I always walk with a purpose, so I don't look like one of those doddery old fools who lost her car! Even though that was exactly what happened.

Came home and asked DH if he has any trouble with that, and he said no, but sometimes in HD parking lot. As far as getting lost...it sure would be helpful if they'd get the streets signs all up around here.

I went through all of the spices, baking ingredients (ground almond, cinnamon, etc.) and baking decorations (sprinkles, green sugar, red sugar, etc.) and I touched every packet and asked if this was a "fantasy" or "reality" and it was so easy to toss stuff that I have never used and will never use. I don't decorate cupcakes any more, so why am I holding on to this, this or this. I've never used pine nuts, or Chinese 5 spice powder... I took the corresponding sticker/label off the storage boxes as I went along. I have clear shoe box size, covered containers for certain categories.

So now that entire area is done.

I think I'm just avoiding paperwork and my desk top. Again. Still.

My head is spinning from deeds and the description of the tracts. These are on the federal land system and were like NW corner of NWQ of section 24, range R west, fractional township 2. I'm looking for the other 1/3 of land in that forty acre tract, although when the land is transferred again later it's described as being 22.5 acres, not the 26.67 acres that s/b 2/3.

I walked the dog three laps and am tired. My Fitbit is working again - that got me to 6600 steps and I need 7800 or so for the day. I don't think I could walk another lap right now anyway.

Heading out for dinner with out neighbors at restaurant.

Big wave to bw2!

Laundry is going, hair is colored…
I’m doing pretty well considering I didn’t really get started until after 2:00 pm.
Phone says I slept 12 hours, but considering I only slept 5 Saturday night, I probably needed it! (Actually, the health app on phone puts those numbers at 9 and 3; 12/5 comes from iphone app, and they are supposed to work together, so I don’t know what’s up there. Really, 12 & 3 sound like the correct estimate for me.)

Anyway, dgs has ballgame at 7:30, so I’m getting s2s now. I had put it off, and could wait longer, but needed to put the clothes I had on in the washer.

    Is that why I spent so much time trying to get my fitbit to work today? Egads! It's a wonder I haven't completely messed it up.

We've had a rough night and a not very good day for dh. TOMORROW!! (Can't come soon enough!) We go to the gastroenterologist in Winter Garden, FL. So hoping they have some good answers for us. Dh did mention this -afternoon that he's feeling sure he'll need transfusions. And I believe it myself. Hoping this Dr will order blood work so we can see what his hemoglobin is and potassium. I just don't know which way to turn or who to contact. Not sure what tomorrow's appointment will entail but I'm hoping we're very close to the 'swallowing the camera pill'. Know you'll all be with me in thought at times tomorrow. He did eat about 3 Tbsp of dinner if that. He was going to have some ice cream but decided against that later too. He just has so many things going on. Not the least of which is everything tasting like 'carp' -very metallic.

I'm going to try heading to bed and TRY to get some shut-eye.

The day fell apart but a fair bit got done so it wasn't a failure. I did fail to take my morning vitamins so I'm really sore tonight (a sign that the glucosamine is making a difference for me.) Plus that means I didn't take my ADD meds. In that light, it really wasn't a failure!

I finished the bedroom vacuum and dust and then went out on errands after my breakfast to pick up the vacuum beater head so I could vacuum the LR/DR. I'm out more money but the guy did say trying to repair the head I have now is not worth it, the chances are a plastic bit is cracked or broken, hence my trouble. Should the main unit ever go, that is worth repairing.

Then I hit the library to pick up books for the grands, the car wash, and finally the grocery store.

Once the groceries were away, I sat and didn't get really moving again at all.

Since then, in no particular order: I've folded one load of laundry, started another (which needs to be hung up now), froze the three whole chickens (dh did the fiddly freezing of the chicken thighs), we ate up the leftovers, replaced my pedometer battery and I vacuumed the LR/DR with the new beater head which worked really, really, well but its full of hair now (dh and I really shed.) My new, longer, flexible, crevice tool arrived too so I did under the couch and few other corners with that.

Tomorrow I'll finish up my weekly house blessing and then figure out which zone I'm in.

For now, I'm heading to bed cuz I'm tired (another side effect of not taking my ADD meds.)

Twins, I used to be able to decipher all that land stuff. I worked for a title company and we had to verify the location of the land, or at least that there was proper access in and out of the parcel before we wold insure it. I didn't actually have to do that work, the guy who was over me did it, but I knew a little from our conversations. We had access to big maps with all that stuff on it. Luckily, most of our work was on platted subdivisions and county lots.

A little checkbook work tonight, dinner etc. Not much else. I should be working on my study for Friday, as our gutter clips came and DH wants to work on those tomorrow. They're a little different but we think they will work ok. sigh...more ladder work.

I polished some of my earrings tonight. Half the 'silver' is worn off a pair I like to wear every day. It's only costume jewelry but I like the shape and the weight. I only wear my better ones when I go out.
