More discussions with Sweetie and where he wants to go to continue this journey.
After doing some research he decided to go to a group here in own city. Called and made an intake appointment for next week. The gal called back and said they just had a cancellation for tomorrow and did we want it… so in we go to see a neurologist tomorrow at 3:45.
So the adventure begins. I need to set up my planner to document information like I did with my mom.

Can't put dgs down. He'll sleep in my arms upright.
He's played around a bit with dgd but won't leave my sight. Won't eat anything either.
I finally had hands free for 15 minutes and called hospital. Dh is off full sedation and responding to yea/no questions. He is tolerating the breathing tube without sedation. Hopefully he'll be strong enough to have it removed later today.
Hospital bed is installed.

Kathryn, so you have both DGS and DGD there with you now? I thought you just had DGS. Is DGD also sick? I may have missed something here... but if you have 2 children to care for, and at least 1 sick and you not feeling well either, that's a lot. I hope Ken continues to improve.
Nancy, your dog sounds so cute, and of course lots of company for you.
I've helped DH in his shop. He is rebuilding / repairing his big commercial wheelbarrow. New bolts and washers and wood wedges to hold the handles and now a new wheel. It's really annoying to me when he puts money into these things. This will make 3 of these big wheelbarrows. He has a need for 2 if he ever gets plans back for this stupid job he's doing, something about the concrete he needs for filling some columns. Sigh..... and he continues to try to sell tools and building stuff. Last couple days he talked with concrete people building a house a block behind us...guy was supposed to come look. If he could sell this stuff that would help him a lot to make these decisions.
RRose, hope the doctor you're going to is brilliant and helpful and personable.
I've had a couple statements to figure out and pay, a letter to mail, and my study to finish for this week. I needed a break after all that. So I went out and watered. It was pleasant to walk around and look at plants and flowers with my hose in my hand. I love looking at my flowers. I have blue, white, pink, and purple out there now. Very pretty. My new asian lillies are multicolored so I can't wait to see what colors my 4 closed buds will be.
Thinking about Dee and cathy and blessed, with their caregiving duties today.

LOL, bw2. You certainly have a great attitude!
My dh comparatively speaking doesn't have problems but he drives me crazy. Did he call the doc today about the results? (No, he thought the doc would call him.) So I fussed about needing to take the initiative, call the doc, make the appt with the dietician (he's dithering about getting insurance to pay for it) and continue to try foods. Just because the amount of salad he ate one day gave him gas, a lesser amount of salad or a different type might give him other results. I'm so tired of trying to cook healthy meals.
I need to sit down tonight and ask him to help me plan several meals and suggest he keep a journal. Just so frustrated with him.
I got to the courthouse, and using a different microfilm made all the difference in the world. Now for more research!

CI:
I wish I had more energy today... but I am actually making some progress on the stuff that just HAS TO be done... nothing more, but at least I haven't just curled up in the recliner with my afghan.
I've washed a couple loads of clothes and I s/s the toilets in the two bathrooms we use -- third bath, I actually have the water turned off in that bathroom, because it has leaked some before.
Now I need to put on make up and start getting ready for church -- dgs is coming home with us afterwards & I'll have to take him to school in the morning. DGD has to be in Big City at 8:30 in the morning; her rheumatologist wants to see the HSP rash and do some lab work.
DS said last night ddil was putting cream on dgd's legs and said, "You don't deserve to have to go through all this," and dgd said, "NOBODY IN THE WORLD deserves to have to go through all this!" It just makes me feel so sad & so sorry for her.
Glad Ken's surgery went okay -- praying for Kathryn & dgs to feel better soon, too!
My duncle is out of surgery and apparently it went fine, too.
Dmom got a steroid shot in her knee today. Doctor did not want to lance/drain the cyst, but wants to see her again in two weeks.

I've re-washed all the knives and wooden spoons and both frying pans. I'm exhausted, but I feel a lot better today than I've felt since Saturday night.

Kathryn (we get it, KIC!) posted the following in yesterday's thread. Wanted to be sure anyone looking in saw it but for the life of me (even with your wonderful notes, Kathryn) I can't seem to move the post. So here it is so anyone peeking in can at least read it:

No time to cuop.
I need to contact the hospital but have to stay up until 7:45 because of shift change briefings. I had meant to call before 6:45 but it took longer to get dgs to bed than I anticipated. He's in bed 75 minutes early but exhausted.
I'm beyond exhausted and frustrated.
I'm getting sicker due to lack of sleep. If I'm sick I can't visit dh. I'm heart broken.
Dgs slept in my arms for 3 hours today but during that time I couldn't nap. I was trying to get him down again in my arms and my sister called.
Please note: I sent out a note last night saying please do not contact me directly, I'm exhausted, I'm sick, and if I'm sick I can't see dh. And yet I had one appointment today (the bed is set up now), dd and dgd were here (and useless for getting me any sleep because dgs screamed whenever I went out of sight, and when I suggested we drive over to the hospital and I'd visit dh for a few minutes and dd could move the car to a mall a 1/2 mile away, and then pick me up, she decided she was too tired to drive.)
My sister called. The front door phone and the business phone had 4 unsolicited calls. And multiple FB Messenger and text messages. Some important, some just chatting. So I had to stop and look at my phone each and every time.
I'm going to go brush my teeth and get ready for bed so I can be in bed at 8 after the phone call.
I'm going to shut down my computer (not suspend because it comes up out of that for skype and Messenger calls.)
I'm going into full Do Not Disturb. I'll tell the hospital to call the house phone and I'll put a handset that rings in our bedroom before I turn off the light.
So I have 30 minutes to get ready for bed and clean up the kitchen from dinner prep.
