Stove top is clean and clear. I now have a full rack of large pots and pans drying and large knives and other large utensils are now clean and drying off.

I have finished cooking for the day. I have 23 portions prep'ed for me and 5 meals prep'd for the kids.

Three guys are here working on the fence. I am very hopeful they will finish this project today. The noise level is louder today because along with the two motors running (welder & generator) there is also a tractor running. They are using the tractor front end bucket to lift the arch material up high while they weld it into place. .

Next up -
** eat lunch & record in cronometer
** do 5 Stationary Lunges
** read at least one page of book.

Back from an errand. One thing was not in stock but the food items were.
Went to a yd sale on the way home, then by the fishing holes and the rock place then saw some deer had to go back for that
it was close by. I am at my first 100 short vids. done so glad now I have learned some stuff cool.

Lovely weather, at the yd sale got my fav. qt book and a Bible cover.
Glad for the restock of coffee pb and could other types of froz. staples.
Watching nature channel.
Got my steps in today.
Dinner was good did the dishes.
Started another hotpad this afternoon.
I rested this afternoon it was needed.

Yuck, it's turning cold here again now that rain is ending. I walked the dog a lap this a.m. and two this afternoon. I cancelled my workout today. I am just feeling so sluggish. I took a nap until dh called to let me know what dinner arrangements are - we're eating out with river friends, but not until 7:45 because they're going to services.

Dcleaning lady did her magic, and with my "stash and dash" the guest bedroom is ready for dogsitter from next door. I'm glad that sweet DMillie won't be alone while I'm away, and dfriend M will walk her in the daytime also. Need to get all that squared away tomorrow, along with some other things.

I did an Instacart order this afternoon too - I had a coupon and I only got enough to get free delivery and tried not to buy things that will perish before we get back home on Thursday. I hope the milk will be good - it's usually spoiled if we're away for a week.

News this afternoon of another portfolio that passed - checked and it was submitted in October, although apparently there's one that was submitted in September that hasn't heard anything. I need to be patient.

End of day update.

Not much done.

The important call to the broker didn't happen.

I spent two hours trying to order a present for dh. Was in tears by the end of it. Life just seems too hard some days. Did get 2 things ordered for the car and they'll be here tomorrow. Also ordered the present and a yukata for dh, so those will take about a month to get here. Dh had a yukata which he wore out. He and his dad had bought them when they took a trip to Japan together. But his dad didn't wear his, so dh inherited that one and has now worn it out too. They literally are shredding from use as the cotton thins out. I kept trying to find one for him but couldn't and he forgot to look when he was in Singapore. Today they announced a Japanese clothing store opening in our fancy mall and dh mentioned he checked out the website and they don't carry yukatas. That spurred me to search again and this time a dodgy Chinese company came up with one at a good price so it was ordered before we went for our walk.

At 11 dh had to attend a discharge seminar so I sat in on that too.

Dh had his two walks but barely made the 7 minutes in the morning and didn't make it in the afternoon. That one was at the mall to get dgs' present and I had a parking spot across from the door. We walked into the store and dh immediately asked the greeter if they had a place to sit. They didn't have anything by the door but there was a wheelchair (I swear sometimes God just provides) and I grabbed it. The whole time from leaving the car to returning was 7 minutes (I had started a timer) so I know he barely got 3 minutes of walking in.

We napped. (Before the second walk.)

We had pizza and watch tv. He wanted to be on his computer for a bit so I made him set a timer for 25 minutes and get up and walk around and do breathing exercises. He gets out of breath really easily, even just talking on the phone.

During one of those 25s I got the winter paintings swapped out. And on another, I got the flowers trimmed again and in fresh water. They are now 16 days old and still look good. But this is the last trim.

Dh is in bed now so I'll head there now. Tomorrow is a big day. Dgs is coming by 10 at the latest, possibly earlier. Apparently he likes the song Happy Birthday and they've heard him singing it to himself all day!

Got a lot done during the day. But the biggest accomplishment was I completed and e-filed our Federal and State taxes. Think next year I'll see if I can go somewhere locally like AA RP perhaps to get them done. It was $232 with the 2 taxes. Thank goodness we don't have to pay state tax on what he earned from the Solar Bears last year. Can't believe I actually did it though! Pretty nice return albeit the payroll company that now does dh's pay at G ravel P onds failed to withhold taxes last year. We still were only a tad less than last year's return and dh is happy.

Well I have done nothing.
Talked to dmom and when she said, “Well there was just no time,” when I complained that he had no interest in seeing dgrands, and had not seen Dgd in 3 years,
I did tell my dmom about my invitation to dbro Tuesday night, and how they immediately changed their minds about eating here in town and went to next town and didn’t return for over 2.5 hours. And never called me again.
* Do y’all think I’m being petty or is dbro just being a jerk and y’all don’t want to say it?

I have done nothing all day. Couldn’t sleep last night and I guess I’ve been catching up all day. Just enjoying the quiet before the storm. Dgrands will both be here tomorrow night until I get them to school Monday morning.

Editing to add: ONE TA-DA — walked away the pounds 15 minutes. Still have basically zero steps for today. (2305) That’s embarrassing.
