Well, I went to bed with high hopes for today, but I awoke with zero energy. I had a lot of strange, troubling dreams. Not really nightmares, but weird things -- any dream analysts among us? First, I was taking a shower and guests were in the house and could see me  then in a restaurant where some bullies came in and started a big fight and scared us all :? and one that was really weird -- visiting a business where dbil knew the late owner. His wife was obsessed with green -- she had all these muscle cars, all bright green, and then there was this switch to it all and somehow, dh AND ddil were trapped and they were being dunked over and over in green slime. :o It's no wonder I was exhausted when I woke up.

Then had to help dh get all his medicine laid out for the rest of the week. He is absolutely miserable -- just hurts all over, excruciating pain in apparently every joint of his body. He is taking Tramadol and Arthritis Strength Tylenol, but that's about all he can do.

Dgrands will be here later and they will go to church with us (me?) and then I'll take them home afterwards. DS is going out to eat with his fil and bil.

Good to see blessed peeping in! Hope Mr. Blessed is doing well and you are all managing okay with caregiving duties.

(((Harmony))) Hugs for possible work extension on Mr. Harmony's part... shaking my head...

Nancy -- that is so neat that you are learning so much and doing these videos! You go, girl!

WTG, LadyM, with the workouts! (And your new recipe, btw. Let us know how it turns out!)

Rose, I also have dishes that need attention... and laundry that needs attention... and floors that need attention... I'm a little overwhelmed right now.

(((Twins))) Hope your cough gets better soon! The waves sound so nice... wish I were there!

And (((Kathryn))) :!: I just hate this so much that you have Covid while Ken is recovering from surgery! Glad to hear he is improving though. I hope your illness doesn't linger much longer!

Cathy, I think what I am doing today is RESTING until dgrands arrive... sigh... I know I sound so lazy, but I am just falling asleep at the keyboard. I'm going to lie down with dh for a while. I'm s2s and I'll have to put on make-up before church, but otherwise, there is nothing that absolutely HAS TO be done before then.
Tomorrow is another day.

(Lucylee) burning the candle at both ends, you are. Hope a nap helps.

Well that chore of tidying up the kitchen table took a couple hours. I had to sort out and organize a bunch of files so I knew what to do with the slew of papers everywhere. What is a slew, anyway? I'll have to look that up. I had a couple big bins out putting stuff away also.... and oh my what a mess. Some things I'd gotten out and talked with DH about sorting what was still good and what was not...and of course in the midst of all the septic work none of that got done. Job file is now organized.... every time DH went out with invoices etc. to the company who had messed up all our orders I sent him out with copies because he has a tendency to lose papers or leave them behind or or or... so I checked that I have the originals to all that stuff... lets just say it was a LOT of work.

In the midst of doing all that, a paper surfaced with a current date on it and it appears a put-on-hold project has surfaced again and I am wishing I could have the courage to talk to this fellow (we go back a long way with this guy). He came to the house before the storm and I tried to talk with him then...but apparently he is pushing to once again start this project. It's not a little one either.

I am trying not to feel discouraged.

Anyway, the kitchen looks lots better.
