I pruned my sage bushes two of them one was dead so I dug it out.
Cooked my lunch it was good.
Neighbors are doing some sort of remodeling inside.
I got dressed enough to do some gardening.
Emotions leaked out my eyes today.
Picked up after the ddog.
Watched the last of my current series.
Walk in a while done got my steps in.
Moved a planter to the plant cage where I can see it when I do dishes.
Cooked veg. on my new to me square ridged cast iron pan in the oven nice to learn something new was a success.

Re: Sat. Successes
The only success around here is in a state of limbo here…
Clean sheets in the dryer and on top of the washer, but NO sheets on our bed or dgs’ bed! So I’ve got to take care of that, plus I plan to vacuum the master bedroom and bathroom.
Ds and Dgd are going to eat supper with us and we’re leaving in about 40 minutes, so I should get something done before then.

Canada won the curling this afternoon, so they go on to the next round. That happens to be tonight.
We have had supper. It was so good and there isn't enough left over for another night, which is good. Tomorrow night is ham. I didn't buy a huge one, so there may or may not be enough for left overs.

((Ramblin')), I'm so glad you are perhaps finished with that migraine series! Hoping h h symptoms ease.
((Kathryn)), I am hoping for surprises, serendipity, some good news for you soon.
Twins' - the answer is: fun creating wonderful greeting cards. That's what you wanted to do upstairs.
Harmony, thank you for the cleaning story of what worked for you. I'll remember. Stay safe. Hello to Sunny.
Dove, it's delightful to see you here more often.
blessed, it's delightful to hope you'll be here more often.
Nancy, sage was also a plant I worked on before rain stopped me. I set the supports for them for the year. They tended to overwinter by heading in new directions and not staying centered where I planted them for some reason.
Rains came and chased me away from all my gardening. But I was able to give dgdC 3 of her favorite plants from last year's gardens for her birthday.
Yesterday HRH and I basically holed up and watched tv and cuddled, listening to outrageous thunder at some points. A strange day that sort of didn't even happen, you know? The light of day never came. Then last night it turned cold. We had to turn the heat back on after getting used to temps in the 80s and hot sun. But the cold is short-lived and back to warm days soon.
Dstepson and HRH went out this a.m. and brought back breakfast.
Ds family and dd43 family both headed out for spring break trips. Granddogs, too. Chickens stayed.
Online prayer meeting this evening was very meaningful.
and furthermore
2 men walked into a bar. 3rd one ducked.
What did the blanket say when it fell off the bed? "Oh, sheet."
actually, I think that one falls flat.

Re: Sat. Successes
This sat here for hours.
After the below, we went and visited the grands and then picked up pizza on the way home.
Harriet: I loved those jokes!
++++++++
I'm lucky, dh listens to the tv through noise cancelling headphones when I'm not going to be watching too. And my chair has its back to the TV so although my desk is only 6' away from it, I'm not distracted at all.
That said my 'successes' today (more just things I do because I'm alive) are:
1. unload dishwasher
2. s2s
3. fixed the blood pressure readings in the app. And learned how to update them, I think. The new machine covers two people but there appears to be only one log-in for the app so I have dh on the tablet, me on the phone and if I sync with the thingy in the wrong position (or take my blood pressure with the thingy pointing to him) then the records end up in the wrong app and since they have been downloaded, you can't download them into the correct record.
4. cleaned and moved the humidifier in the bedroom which isn't working properly at the moment. Reviews said it was not a long life. I may be experiencing that.
5. filled in a form x3 and took it down to the office. The form was due yesterday but the office is closed today so I back dated it and put it in the mail box.
6. Off to dd's now for the egg hunt.

Re: Sat. Successes
Oooh Lucylee, hope your DMom is ok.
Got a couple things done. I backed the car into the driveway and washed it. Twice. The 2nd wash was with something that foamed but also had wax in it. Now I can't expect this old thing to look bright and shiny any more, but it sure looks better than it did. There was some splatter on one back panel looked like rust...and I have no idea where that came from and that took loads of scrubbing to remove. Later I went out and shined the windows inside and out. Couldn't quite reach the middle of the windshield and DH has my step stool down on his job
so I had to get bigger ladder out there and crawl up on the hood. I had much trouble getting back onto the ladder and almost didn't make it. But it's done now. I even sprayed the wheels with their cleaner and made a stab at cleaning them. If I'd crawled around on the ground I could have done more, but they don't look too bad now.
Dinner. dishes. Gave DH a haircut. I'm going to touch up my roots next. Then wash the stuff for the salad I'm taking tomorrow. Phew. That's enough for today. Going to the early service tomorrow, need to be in bed soon.
Have a nice holiday, those who are celebrating, and I also am remembering Twins in her Passover week.

Re: Sat. Successes
Canada beat the Swiss, so now we get to play for the gold tomorrow at 4. So happy to have a bit of time where dh isn't bored.
The tuxedo cat played with the youngest cat. They were "chasing" each other, with the kitten doing high speed zoomies and jumping on and off the furniture while the tuxedo cat ran slowly and stayed off the furniture.
I need to find my happiness when and where I can instead of dwelling on the fact that dh's issues cause me to have to live like it's Groundhog Day every morning. Wash floors, repeat. Wash floors, repeat. Same old, same old... I'm focusing on the fact that it is what it is and I can't change it, so I may as well be just do it and get it over with. Too bad I can't deal with the dishes the same way.

Re: Sat. Successes
Harmony: you are on a roll!
Me? I paid a bill for the business. And updated my calendar while sitting on the floor. I read this article on keeping my body happy:
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyl ... body-happy
(I think you can read this without a subscription.)
One of the 17 things is to sit on the floor a minimum of 15 minutes a day. I have found when I'm babysitting dgs that I can move much more easily and figure it is the time I spend up and down from the floor with him. So that personal experience has made me take the rest of the advise to heart.
There are 3 ways to sit on the floor and the first one, sitting cross legged, is very painful for me so I only did it for 2 minutes. That's no surprise, I'll work my way up with that. The legs out straight is easy (that's how I sit on the floor when with the grands) and the 90-90 was hard to get into but possible to spend 5 minutes in without constantly checking my timer.
Now I need to set up an index card with these and start working on them regularly.
I am doing stretches when I'm on the elevator by myself and also when waiting for it to arrive. That adds up to about 4 minutes a day so I may as well make use of that time! I also try balancing on one foot while brushing my teeth (I have an electric toothbrush so am just standing there) or when in line at the grocery store. If I make the effort to write these out, I'll be more likely to remember them during those minutes here and there through the day (like waiting for my blueberries to defrost for my breakfast.)
