Harriet, stamping/crafting yesterday would have been a good call but I didn't think of it. That desk needs a clean up but that would have still been pleasurable. As it was I piddled about and filed about 50 or 60 notes in my electronic filing system, Evernote. That got me down to 210 notes in the inbox. So I have a ways to go on that
For the first time since Friday night I'm caught up in the kitchen. Counters cleared and clean, same for sink.
Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
Waving at bw2, so glad you checked in!

In the should have waited category …
Just after I finished all my outside watering of my sunnies and literally stepped into my lania it started to rain!
Hoping Harmony and Dee are getting some because we are in desperate need of rain. Plus there is a huge brush fire threatening homes not too far from my home. Hope the area received some too.
Good to see you Blessed

Yes, Harriet, no ER visit and no phone call in the night, so I’m assuming all is well.
So — I’m sitting in the car against church! Got in there, saw dgs be an acolyte, started coughing again, second time I felt I had to step out I decided to stay out. Sigh. Will this NEVER end???

I am on my third outfit. It is comfortable and will work better and my shoes now match.
Was teary for a bit thinking that has passed.
I have a phrase for if someone asks how I am I can say without being negative.
I can smile and say happy Easter or He is risen.
Had new shirt I'd forgotten about, and a new windbreaker we have rain in a few min coming if they are right on the forecast.
Thinking of you all.

~~~waving Hello to all~~~
I started cooking at 5am this morning. At 7:30 I loaded my prepared food into the vehicle and went to set up for breakfast that followed the sonrise service. There was an abundance of help so many hands made light of the work needed. After the service & breakfast I came home and continued cooking for Easter lunch. We just finished eating lunch and DH volunteered to clean up. I am pleased with how smoothly everything went.
We don't have any plans for the rest of the day. I am going to relax a bit.
I was bored, so I went outside and did an inventory of the chest freezer. I'm glad I did. There were steaks and beef stewing meat in the pork bag, and salmon in the chicken bag. When I saw the price on the steaks, I wasn't happy, but I wasn't with dh when he bought these ones. We also had beef liver in 2 different places. I use large, reusable shopping bags in the chest freezer, which makes it easier to sort out.
I've also done most of the dishes. Found more cardboard to burn.
I did lay down with dh for a nap, but I couldn't sleep. I guess the chocolate I had before breakfast has energized me. Either that or the gorgeous weather outside. There wasn't a cloud in the sky earlier. There are a few now.
I planted the last 2 tomato plants into the raised bed. Unless there is a disaster, I am done with planting tomatoes this year. I still have a dozen or so pepper seedlings to plant and half a dozen flowers waiting to be planted.
Yesterday DS14 bought a power washer so he can wash his vehicles. He learned that going to the car wash costs about $15 for each vehicle. He did the analysis and determined the power washer will pay for itself in about a month. Today DS14 washed my and DH vehicles without being asked.
[quote]I am getting a mcgAfee warning and I do not have mc..fe..[/quoteNancy, we frequently get those or from N orton, neither of which do we have. Also get multiple warnings from N etflix -no accounts, or A-river. We do have an account there but I just generally check through our own source and it's always a scam/spam.
Again last night I didn't get to sleep until just before 5am this morning. Did manage to get up and go to church for the regular service. I'd really wanted to go to the 8am sunrise service, but just couldn't manage it.
Still struggling with what to do about my trip north. Fly/drive/what to do with our car, etc, etc. Just letting it lie for now. DD's gone to Jacksonville until Thursday with some of her students for a SKILLS USA competition. Then she leaves a week from Wednesday for San Fransisco with a video team from another school. This will be her 4th trip with them I think. Her school is willing to let her go as the county school board pays for her sub.
I've played in the garden. I tried a different style of paths between the raised bed. I'm not sure if I like it enough to do all the paths. I'll try it for a while and see if it becomes my favorite.
DS14 continued with his power washer usage after he finished washing 5 vehicles. He decided to wash one side of our house. It was astounding to me the difference it made. Then DS14 decided to wash the driveway and clean all the dirt out of the expansion joints. This kid makes things up to keep himself occupied.
