Cheese cake in oven. Finally. Needed to let butter and cream cheese come up to room temp and ate lunch.
Now I'm setting a timer for 45 min to end at BOTH (very slightly short on time but I can live with it.)
-put kitchen back together
-on front porch, wipe surfaces quickly, am delegating blowing off the porch to dh in the a.m.
-get geraniums and asparagus ferns into pots by sidewalk and by garage
-water outside plants, it's been so warm and low humidity
-back inside, powder room swish and swipe
We'll see how far I can get.

Dh is back up again and getting ready to go to the funeral parlor. Doesn't leave for almost 3 hours. Said he'd get ready and then he wouldn't worry about it later on.

I so want him to rest and he badly needs it.
Just got a message in our "My Care" account. It was for an appointment 5/11 at 9:10am with the same heart Dr who performed his ablation in December. I imagine this is for the pre-stuff for the watchman procedure. Sure it'll be June before that's performed if that's what this appointment is for.

Thanks for reminder re: dog, DNancy, our gal needs Sentinel, for fleas and heart worm.
.
I worked a little over because I couldn't hear timer outside. I'll start again at 2:45 and work to 3:30.
I got through watering some of outside plants - had to go to bathtub for water. Need to finish that and I'll do powder room and then start on inside or screened porch. I don't have enough potting soil for potted plants, although I could still get tomatoes and basil in raised beds.

Extra laundry done here
and extra watering outside, since it is going to be mid-80s. So much for spring.
Desk Day
Rant
Ordered checks, which was FRUSTRATING.
A booklet we'd been sent not that long ago from the bank, saved for this Desk Day, was basically one large advertisement saying how EASY to decide online on new, colorful checks that are different designs from what you've had, with a variety of options, paid through your acct. Not so. I went to the (only) e-address given (our bank's name as part) and followed the only link suggested (H-C checks, very familiar name) and there was nothing to click on whatsoever to change our checks. It's not because our account is a "starter" or singular like dd24's is - ours is old as the hills and associated with savings etc., that are old, too. Besides, I know I'm paying - it's not like the charge won't be there next month. I had to keep everything, including style, color, ugly font for our name and address AND (the part I hate
) the image of the bank's logo across the checks! All I could change was add an initial. I went ahead and ordered because I needed to get it done, but it's just dumb to subject customers to such questionable advertising. There are companies out there who want (deserve?) your business.
I suppose I'll just use this as a reason to buy yet more ~~~ expressive ~~~ stationary, stamps, return address labels, stickers. Yes, that's what I'll do.
Dd24 is her fiancée's ride today as he has a quick med procedure, so since he lives so close to us, we expect her here soon after she drops him off. She and I have tentatively planned to make supper together tonight.
I think dd43 has an order of veggies delivered with some for us, too. So, I need to make a plan to get those to our fridge.

HVAC fella is here doing maintenance on a/c units. They are both blowing cold air so I assume they are good to go for another year. DH is staying with them talking non-stop as they work.
I am feeling a bit beat up today. I tried to make healthy food selections yesterday but eating out always has a negative effect on how I feel for several hours/days. I had 10k steps yesterday, but my weight was still up almost 2 lbs this morning. ugh.
Has anyone read books written by Colleen Hoover? If so, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Another breaktime. I'm going to break for 15 min and continue but this time can work to :15 after, when I need a shower.
Dh came home growling at me because I hadn't tried to troubleshoot kitchen faucet, other than finding YouTubes online. Like I haven't been doing anything today? Anyway, that round I finished powder room and swept/straightened/consolidated garage refrigerator. Took me out of his range anyway.
This time I must finish watering plants.
Ah. Forgot to post after writing this. I'm stopping now. DH fixed faucet! So I can cancel the plumber for Wednesday, assuming it holds over the weekend. I have 8600 steps so far. Will be more this evening, too.
Heading to shower.

I have read some Colleen Hoover! I liked them pretty well, and plan to read some more.
Computer still in shop.
Bug lady came and sprayed.
Went to post office, paid two bills.
Working on labels for dmom’s file folders.
I definitely need to get busy working the plan. My PLAN is good. Unfortunately, the planner is willing but the doer is lazy.

Went to knitting after I did some filing. Not as much to archive before 2014 as I thought there might be. For some years there isn't anything to file from this pile. I'm sure there are other files in the archive drawer.
Came home from knitting and there was a shiny new garden trailer on our patio. A neighbour brought it over and asked dh if he wanted to buy it because it's "only $300!" Dh is going to "test drive" it for the weekend. Sigh...
Made butter chicken with drumsticks. I also made Basmati rice and boiled some green peas to go with it.
Later...
Started a load of washing. I also have a sink full of dirty dishes waiting to be put into the dishwasher. I will do that as soon as I hit "submit".

Finished the series I was watching.
Then went outside and moved the rest of the piles of leaves to the back of the property till I free up containers to move it to the trash
or just use it as compost but at least it is out of my eyesight! Win win!
-----
I watched some vid. had my dinner.
Made out my plan for Sat. bujo stuff. I have dusted the living room.
I got the dining room duster under and under the stove and fridge too.
So I feel like I have a bit of stuff done on the list for tomorrow.
