Good afternoon!
It's been a while. Work keeps keeping me busy, though I suspect I will be less busy for the next couple of days, as our expert is unavailable, and there's only so much I can do without him. When I'm not doing paid work, I'm still catching up on the massive backload of laundry that showed up when my kids had to clear paths to their radiators. I have had some help from DD, but my own fussiness keeps me doing a lot of it by myself. (There are things I prefer to drip-dry, rather than throw the whole load in the dryer, but we don't have enough hanging space inside to hang an entire load. So it comes down to what I want to hang and not. DH put a load in the dryer the other day and hung up one thing. I quickly stopped the dryer and found five more things.
I don't want my fleecy stuff to get all pilled.)
I am trying to spend more time tidying up around here. In less than a month's time, we have plans to get together with friends and play all the Ticket to Ride games, or at least all the ones we have between us. (Neither of us have Germany, the Netherlands, Amsterdam, or London.) Our plan is to spend the entire weekend playing. It would be so wonderful if we could have them here for one of those days. Plus, tidying means going from room to room, so maybe I'll get more steps in.
I am sorry to hear Dee's and blessed's DHs are health challenges don't seem to be much better. Glad to hear Ken's recovery is continuing. blessed, is there any hope of your DH being off the tubes any time soon?
I am going to try to get to some of that tidying now! Take care, everyone!
