Home from semi successful trip. The last evenity treatment was done and the new place was super nice. They provided food/drinks and had massaging recliners to sit in while getting the treatment. The nurse and I were talking about getting turned away from the hospital. She said I was the 6th evenity patient she had this morning with the same story.

I pulled into Sam's parking lot and was shocked how full it was. It is usually about half full, but every parking spot was taken this morning. I realized it was the 1st of the month. Argh! I didn't have anything on my restocking pantry list that was worth facing those crowds. We left without going inside.

in the fancy dentist office with support dog and bread-baking daily. Was served coffee and chocolate.

Got one small patchwork block/unit handsewn. Maybe I should have brought more to do.

Phone rings and sadness. Grandferret Felix is losing balance suddenly. So dd24 hurrying to his vet who will squeeze an appt in.
This does not sound good. With me as driver for her Dad and anyone else working, she'll be alone if this is it. I was quoting her grandfather fast as I could. "You're stronger than you think you are"etc. Literally a little problem, a very little one.

Waving to all — posting from phone.
Computer should be back by end of week.

I’m in the waiting room, dmom is seeing her gynecologist. She just can’t get over some sort of infection— UTI, bladder? Family doctor has prescribed med but when she found out gyno had only moved office, not retired, she wanted to see him.

Happened May Day to you all!
Tomorrow is another day.

Harriet, losing one's pet is not a small problem. It's a big one. :(

Lucylee, I used to be plagued with those infections too often also. I would take D-Mannose when it happened but didn't seem to work...would be taking antibiotics and basically feel like c__p. Finally I quit fighting it and began putting them in my everyday pill boxes. 1 in the morning, 1 in the evening. I haven't had a UTI since. I think I'm going on a couple years now. I resisted, not wanting to spend the money. Vitamin place here was always out of the bigger size bottle and smaller one was more pricey per pill, finally did a search online and found one a bit less costly. I wonder if this would help her?

I got that bathroom deep cleaned. Tried using a set of DH's knee pads someone left in his truck yrs ago. Nope, not a good product. Couldn't walk with them, one set of the extra pads missing on one pad, straps didn't stay hooked up....anyway, I got it done. That floor has little square tiles on shower floor and all over the room floor. Scrubbed the joints with the nail brush which is just the right size for that job. Painted bead board on the walls halfway up, all washed and the ledges and the windowsill. That's not the easiest room to deep clean. Usually I keep up with the fixtures, but this stuff takes some ambition.

Time for a rest!

True, Harmony. I was sort of referring to just how little sized pet he is. Doesn't take up space and hides under just anything, but he's been a presence for sure.

Dr says that this is an alarming acceleration of symptoms and so dd24 decided this must mean putting to sleep now, because quality of life won't be there. The young man is off work now headed to vet's, but may not make it in time for the moment. Dr needs to move quickly because of his own surgery schedule, and he's definitely the one Felix has cuddled before, so no contest. Dd will just be tough while alone.

Hrh did great at dentist. Not so time consuming or tense after all, so that's one thing done.

Update: here is the latest... dgd had her phone taken away she had the third time caught using it,
b/c of the move and stuff getting figured out. I picked up phone for her they said she owes me big time so I have a chore she can do to earn it back.
Get on the room and put the de- moss stuff aka baking soda needs sprinkled. She is on roofs all the time her folks know & okey it.

I stopped by the store on my way back home fueled my rig no line yea! Got a snack and couple other items so this was a win - win!

More news dgd has track after school she called from a friends phone.
Dd will be available for the mom's day thing at dson's. bc the graduation is on Sat.
----
Evening update
dgd did the chore with dd and actually dgd did a better job sprinkling it like on cookies! LOL!
So I will let you know if the moss dies after the baking soda application.
Dgd is happy and has her phone back now.

aprx. 3 boxes of stuff left today.
I got the dishes done and spiff the counters a bit.
Vacumed the liv. room.

Not good, I lost the rest of the day to mental set backs.

Doc appointment was fine. The car suggested a route that shaved at least 5 minutes off the trip. I know the fastest I can do that drive because it is past where our Costco is and it is a minimum of 20 minutes to Costco! (So I have a new route to Costco!)

On the other hand, got there with 7 minutes to spare and arrived in the office 5 minutes late due to no parking. It is in an industrial park and there's some street parking but not enough. There is also a parking lot so after deciding there was no free parking I pulled in. There were no parking spots available and this wasn't a place where you have a few minutes grace so I had to go around and around until someone came out of the building and then I followed them to their spot. I did block the entrance waving people away because you have to pay $3 to leave so one is better off still on the street with more spots likely to open up.

Then I waited just under an hour to see the doc for 5 minutes.

Got home and parked above ground to download the update. It was a navigation update so took almost an hour to download. I couldn't leave the car because it was a wild storm and the car was being buffeted by the wind and I didn't want to go out into that. So I sat there for an hour. I tried to nap but the car shaking was like turbulence on a plane and I couldn't relax. The storm passed just as the car finally finished the download. I moved to our parking spot inside and took the time to wipe off some of the dirty spots on the car with the rain.

By the time I was upstairs it was almost sunny. I had a light lunch and then dh and I went for a walk to run an errand so that took another hour. By this time my mind was done in and I've wasted the rest of the day. This is really not good.

Thanks for the tip, Harmony.
Seems dmom is retaining a LOT of urine. Doctor seems to think this may be because of infection.
Dmom says she suspects it has been an ongoing problem and may be the reason she has an infection.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg, you know? Doctor is going to call dmom when he gets lab report from today’s sample. I will tell her to ask about D-mannose.
Tomorrow is another day.
