Sunday Start or Finish?

I 've had dinner and did the dishes spiffed up the kitchen.
Trying to get the last few of my steps in this evening.
It never did rain and the sun is out it is not overly hot here so that is good.
Got the stuff I hand washed put away yea it dried quickly enough!
I've had a good day.
Not done my planning for Mon. yet.
But I did get the trash out this weekend that helps

I've had mostly a relaxing day. I enjoyed small group & worship service with church family this morning. I made lunch for everyone. DD12 was excited about going to camp and was launch successfully. DS14 and friends were in/out/in/out/in/out of the house (repeat dozens of times) with multiple phone calls. We attended chapel service tonight and then DH went to monthly board meeting.

I made a decision to experiment with a different eating plan for a couple of days. I need to do a quick grocery run for a few things tomorrow.

Hello Harriet! What are you up to?

I'm not up to anything much worth writing about. DH spent time talking about the usual problem around here. Downsizing. Or not. How to do it. When to do it. What to do with all the stuff (shop and truck). This time I got my file out and we went over what the house is worth and what it cost us plus the upgrades we did to it along the way. What that all means. All we seem to do is talk about this stuff. We never get to any of it. Except that I work on the house all the time, keeping it up, getting rid of stuff that we don't need. But the shop... and the big truck... and the garage... sigh...I've done all I can in the garage.

We have some big stuff to try to sell. We don't exactly know how to do this. I've been told to put it on marketplace. Just dragging my feet to figure out exactly how to do all that. I don't know for sure, but DH is beginning to make noises about how much work the outside is. He has the grass so beautiful that it looks like artificial turf with absolutely no weeds anywhere and cut nicely. He has been saying he can't use the gasoline weed eater... and wants to try the electric one which is lighter. I don't know how many more years we have in us to keep this place up.

So anyway, we went to church and both came right home afterward. I got the garbage gathered and out to the road. We have something to do tomorrow together...his customer insists she wants to take us both to a nice lunch and nothing will suit her but a nice place so we must both get dressed appropriately. I don't know why she wants this. We have our statement to give her although all the work isn't entirely done...this is just a to-date accounting, and she's expecting it. So, I told DH to just humor her and let her take us because it seems important to her. She's much more social than we are, it appears.

Anyway, have a nice sleep tonight, and Kathryn, I sure hope your smoke clears soon. I'd heard this weekend it was supposed to get better. Maybe that was just for us in the U.S.

busy weekend with the dgrands
and then some big drama with my aunt and crazy uncle…
And I am worn out!
I haven’t even filled out my planner for the week. It’s a Sunday start, but in my head, Monday is the start of my week. And get this — I have an UNDATED planner, so I could set it up for Monday start!
Hmmm… I may do that — even though I’ve already put the dates for SUNDAYS all the way through the rest of the year. And I may have filled in birthdays, etc. But nothing some white label stickers can’t fix. I think I will do that tomorrow, since I’ve “lost” Sunday anyway. \o/
