After sleeping late, I took an additional nap. Very relaxing day here, although we now have another T-storm coming through. Thankfully there are not outdoor activities tonight. We're seeing ds at six at a restaurant near him.
I called dd but her phone messages are full, not uncommon with her. I texted and asked her to call when she has a chance. I think her HS bestie, who recently dog sat for us, is visiting her.
Still raining, hoping I can get in a walk with ddog before we go. And if I'm super lucky the rain will keep the fireworks down tonight, but I can't count on that. I'll drug her before we leave around 5:40.

Twins - Happy Birthing Day to you and Happy Birthday to your DChildren. I hope you have a great meal and chat with them both today.
DS49 and DGS16 called and chatted while they were driving. They flew to Philadelphia this morning and are driving to the location of DGS16 bike race. I found it interesting they aren't using rental vehicles anymore but now use Turo which is renting a vehicle from a person. They like being able to choose their vehicle and said they have had great success with it. Last week DGS16 was in a bike race in California, and they used the Turo app to get a vehicle there too. Both times they rented an EV Mustang. I am feeling really out of the loop. I had never heard of Turo and didn't know Ford had an electric mustang. Ohs well. #Clueless and Okay with it.
I am starting to feel like myself more and more each day. My energy level is building back to normal. I still have scabs and big green/yellow bruises from the fall, but the tenderness is reducing. I can kneel on solid surface putting my weight on my knee with minimum pain now.

Back from Wmart. I called dmom but she didn’t need anything, said she would go early tomorrow morning.
We all went to church, dgs had piano, we ate lunch, and I took a nap before doing Wmart. Then I had to sit down and have some cheese and crackers before I could put away the groceries.

Busy day. My church friend wasn't waiting for me when I pulled up to get her. A man came out of the garage...turned out her son and Daughter-in-law had come this weekend to visit and she neglected to call me not to stop for her. That was ok, it was nice to meet her family. They're from the same town where DD lives nearby so we had something to chat about. I wasn't too far out of my route to church, though if I'd known she wasn't coming I'd have picked a different service.
After church I stopped to get groceries, and the other store too to get milk. When I finally got home DH was sound asleep and never woke up when I unloaded everything and put it all away. A snack and a long nap after...which did not help me get back some energy... I don't know why I am so tired, but I really am.
Twins, important day for you! It must have been quite the experience having 2 at once.

I thought of you, Harmony, when today an Assoc Pastor asked in the Children's Message whether any of them had driven this morning. Turned out, none raised their hand, and none had walked, biked, etc., etc. So, she said, well the only other explanation I can think of is that someone who does drive must have loved you enough to bring you with them. There was a chorus of who, and one child had a long explanation hard to understand, but Pastor heard the whole description of this driving person who was somewhere in the room.
I made basil pesto noodles this evening. All gone. That's nice.
Tomorrow morning HRH has an appt and if we aren't weary or burnt to a crisp, we'll do some shopping, too.
Dd24 has appreciated some extra laundry opportunity here, and has been parading through the house with stacks as she prepares for a trip to visit the young man's aunt and grandmother, leaving Tuesday.
