I had to fix myself a wrap before last session ended and eat, but I went on out at the lunch break and picked up the printed syllabus, made the deposit, and ran in the grocery store nearest me. They are nearly out of bottled water in the garage refrigerator and we needed milk too. I don't want any heat exhaustion at my house. Currently it's 93, feels like 98. I am hot too, the car never cooled down with the stops.
I'm afraid I'll be ravenous by the time of the next break.

I've been to the garden every hour to walk, water, harvest peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, and tomatoes. I also planted 3 types of seeds for the fall garden. Delicata Squash, Muncher cucumbers, and acorn squash. The 2 types of okra planted a few days ago are up and growing. There are 107 days available to grow things before Nov 10th (typical first frost). I prefer fall gardens over spring gardens because there are less bugs. Although, this has been a strange gardening year with almost zero bugs. At the beginning of the garden season, I found 2 tomato worms but that is all. This is strange! I don't put any chemicals in the garden and don't spray for bugs.
I have my food logged for the day and now I will see how close I stick to my plan.
I prepared a whole spiral ham. We had some of it for lunch and then I packaged the leftovers into one-pound packs (8 of them). It will be a quick and easy meal for the future.
DH is home from his quarterly diabetic appointment with family doctor. His A1C was 5.5 The doctor is taking DH off one of his prescription meds (metoprolol). The doc was pleased with DH weight and how he is doing overall. Doc has scheduled DH for a couple tests to confirm lungs and bone density are still doing good. He also said he was ordering CGM for DH. I think the doctor wanted to do that at DH last appt, but it wasn't covered by insurance but now he thinks it is.

I want to think about my garden in the patio for next spring and dig out some things after I get the pop up canopy to shade it later in the week.
I will be painting that cabinet first however. That is the plan anyway.
