Back home from grocery, turns out my body work appointment is tomorrow a.m. That's what I get for not putting it on the calendar as soon as we set it up by text. My memory was playing a trick on me, obviously. I'll need another grocery store trip on Friday for more perishable items. I wiped out the produce drawers of the refrigerator and purged as I put produce away. The refrigerator started beeping at me so I'll finish wiping it out later.

I think finishing what I'm doing on the screened porch may be my next priority. I'm having trouble setting priorities unfortunately. I'm not going to cook until tomorrow. Brisket will need to go into oven before I head to massage therapist at 10. I might try to do both pans at once.

I'm having trouble getting moving again. Set timer to start at 12:30, will work 45 min. I need to finish putting away groceries and clear counters again.

Afternoon….

LadyM…. I’m thinking of you as you make all your preps for this big meal.

Elizabeth… is always a treat to see you when you stop by. So sorry about the kitty.

Lucylee…you do have a lot going on!

Me… I went to class, came home and made my second cup of coffee which I managed to spill all over my end table and the floor beneath it. Then discovered some strange things going on when I checked my email. That lead me to make several unplanned called and then finally reaching out to the fraud department of my CC which had been hacked and then shut down by the bank. Person in the fraud dept requested that I send those emails to them so they can investigate them.

My car said I have a low tire and Sweetie checked it. Must have a slow leak to we’re headed to the tire place for an1:30 appointment. Sweetie went up into the attic and got down my suitcase. I bringing a larger one with me because I intend to send it through. Worried about loosing it, I bought an air tag in case that happens, but now I have to figure out how to set it up.

Tonight is bingo and I had planned to go to the back. I want extra cash for my trip and need singles for bingo. I never win but it’s a fun time with friends. So I’ll head that way after I get my tire fixed. And since I’ll be at the bank, Sweetie will get Culver’s for dinner cause it’s right next to it and I won’t have to cook :D

Harriet from reading your post seems to me one of the drs. screwed up.
I'm dressed by nine.
I had walked the ddog.
I have planned dinner.
Resting a bit I need to get my cranberry juice ready next. did that. . .
-----
Two anti p. tasks accomplished.
Got some herbs that are more like weeds dug out by half of a part of fence had to vacuum up some dirt I'd tracked in.
Called a friend she was busy no worries at least that is off my mind now it was just to wish a belated bday & say hi so done.
Said she would call back and I almost hope she forgets.
Sounds like the mail just came, I will say that dealing with it when it comes in really helps bc I toss the junk then and does not pile up win win.

Good morning afternoon! Hugs all round — Elizabeth, for poor Ramsey; lucylee, for slammed schedule; Harriet, for medical provider frustrations; Twins, for trip drama; Kathryn, for phone/communication headaches; Rose, for fraud, and for anyone else who needs them!

What a great idea, Nancy, to put pockets on the nightgowns! I have a couple that have pockets (they’re technically “loungers”), but I wish the others did, too.

DC wants to be run out to the college this afternoon for an open mic session. They may not be permitted to take classes this semester, but they are still enjoying the social life. I need to sit them down and look at the schedule for their appeal for readmission. Things need to be submitted a certain number of weeks before registration opens for next semester, and I’m worried the window is closing. If their ADHD mind could keep track of due dates, they might not be in this situation. *sigh*

DD is still sick but no longer moaning. She is now feeling well enough to play video games. I need to make sure she’s called in, unless they just told her to take the rest of the week. I don’t remember what current recommendations are for being around other people.

I didn’t do any payroll work yesterday, so I should do that. Have a good day, everyone!

Rosie: yuck and shudder. First, you hadn't planned on dealing with banks and CC companies, and secondly, it is scary how easy it is for stuff to get taken over these days.

I booked a hair appointment, success. It will be 2 weeks before the wedding.

I tried to renew the grands magazine subscription but the company is incompetent and she told me to wait until the bonus offer has passed sigh.... I renewed last week online, stupidly, and the same thing happened as last year: I get a renewal number but my credit card is never charged and the subscription isn't renewed. The renewal number was worthless last year. This year I paid closer attention and it said to wait 48 hours for the renewal to go through. It has been 8 days and NOTHING. Yet when I called to do it over the phone, she wouldn't take my money saying that online and mail in renewals are really backed up and to wait until next month. When I argued that didn't work last year and the bonus offer expires, she said that I would still get the offer even if the renewal goes through later. That's only if the renewal goes through at all, which it didn't last year. Not only did I not get the early renewal bonus, the subscription also ended up ending and I had to start a new one and the kids missed their December issue.

Then I spent 30 minutes on a zoom call over the ongoing personnel issue I'm dealing with at church. Oh well, I dislike this mousy grey so maybe I'll go white more quickly dealing with all this.

I need to pack up my backpack for the walk.

The rail and base on screened porch are done and swept. The dcleaning lady will vacuum and do rest of dusting. I may try to clean the couch out there a bit. It's one of Millie's favorite nap spots.

I had to take a break during that 45 min and eat some cheese and crackers. I'm having an apple with peanut butter now.

Since dh and I got home earlier today I feel like I have done next to nothing.

I did wash a couple of large pots from last night and I emptied the dishwasher. I also brought in a case of iced tea and put it all in the fridge. Our bottom shelf is reserved for an entire case of 24, plus a row of 4 at one end. There is also a container that holds our sliced meat when we have some. With the prices going up, up, up, I don't know if we'll buy as much as we used to. All we have these days is salami.

I've had a delightfully hot shower. I'm going to go lay on the bed and read until it's time to make supper.

I did some garage clean up/straighten up/sweep/clear area around door into house. We have a guest in a wheelchair and he comes in that entrance, which is a small step. So my garage always gets some exposure and it's gross right now. So that's done. I've also been chipping away at the stuff in MBR and making progress there.

I have chicken thawed for our supper and I'll bake a sweet potato and a veggie. Or maybe if I'm energetic, instead of sweet potato a small butternut squash tossed with olive oil and rosemary and roasted in oven. I'll probably grill chicken, love to have leftovers of it around.

I need a longer break this time. I'm feeling a little overheated and am enjoying the A/C.

Went to the tire place and it turns out there were two nails in my tire. One nail went in horizontally so the tire can’t be fixed. Had to order two new tires as the tire for my car come from discount tires and there aren’t any of those stores near me. I needed at least one tire and because the tread on it with a new tire doesn’t match the other three so in order to stay safe I needed two tires with the same tread.

Went to the bank after that and the lobby was empty. Never seen that before. I needed cash so I was done with the banking window in less than 5 minutes. Stopped at Culver’s for Sweeties dinner and then came home.

Fixed the rest of my tuna salad from yesterday and that was my dinner. Looking forward to seeing my friends at bingo tonight
