I am back from errands it was a fun morning.
Did my art date and got a watch I like and it fits!
a few things at the store not much unter ten items.
No bulbs I wanted in stock. Guess I did not feel like digging in the dirt.
Had success with dropping off my donations today two bags, clothes hoping they can be of use if nothing else costumes.

Scored some excellent finds tree shape wood pieces already painted and glued up.
An armless chair, the 3 tiered tea tray for snacks.
a couple of Bible study type books.
I also hit 2 yard sales got a side table to paint.
Took the ddoggo with me to the yard sales in the neighborhood as I did not walk her today got my
steps in doing errands sore knee so did not want to walk any more.
Doggy is napping so it must have done the trick for her.

Saw a couple of friends when I picked up my to go food and we hada great visit.

Blessedw2 - That is great news!

Test results showed DS15 has great lungs and no asthma symptoms. Family doc has ordered fasting blood work for DS15 to make sure everything is within range.

DD12 has a school project that requires her to collect, identify and mount at least 25 insects. She has caught 5 insects, so she has a long way to go to reach the minimum requirement.

DS15 has brought home a non-running 1967 Belvedere that he will be working on. One of the first steps in this vehicle project is to replace the gas tank and battery. I try to not think too hard about these vehicle projects that DS15 gets himself into. All I know is he is fascinated by them and will spend hours and hours working on vehicles. He questions several mentors on what he should do and recommendations on how to proceed. He is gradually starting to get a little experience and know-how. DS15 usually has at least one friend that works alongside him.

Dh and I went for fish and chips for supper. We went to a local pub and we both actually ordered fish and chips.

This week the Friday Fibre Group was LOUD this week. Last week you could have heard a pin drop! There is one woman that is a loud talker and she sure doesn't want us to miss a single word her grandchildren might have said in the past week. She also likes the conversation to be nonstop.

Friday Fibre Group
Am I the only one who instantly thought of Kathryn's bran muffins?
On second thought it is a different type of fiber.
** My weird humor**

I was push mowing the yard to meet this hourly step goal when a mosquito landed on my arm. I swatted it at the same moment that I realized it would be a good addition to DD12 insect collection. Too late. Maybe next time.

Hello. Love reading about Kathryn's little getaway. It sounds so nice. Sorry the getting on your way was difficult. You are lucky to have knowledgeable people in your nearby family.

I had a busy day. My study in the morning, and I went to a couple stores on the way home to hopefully find some shoes. I have one pair I wear when going out but they are starting to make my feet a bit sore so I can tell they are wearing out the support inside, although it doesn't show. I had dozens and dozens of shoes on, which is a big job in these places where people don't wait on you...and nothing was quite right. I want something to wear without socks but that puts me in the middle of 7 1/2 or 8. I will have to keep looking.

After that I stopped for the 3 things I had on my grocery list... and I ended up with a cart full of stuff. It is all basic stuff, a lot of vegetables, some meat, and the only non-food item was the bars of soap I bought. By the time I was home and unloaded it was 5:00 so I'd been out all day long. Tonight I'm not feeling so great.

LadyM, my first thought was gallbladder...but I was just guessing. I hope Elizabeth and I are both wrong.

I have multiple things needing done around here. I did get a few things done... 1 LOL washed and dried; yesterday's LOL brought in from the porch and I'll put that away soon. Dishwasher is unloaded and reloaded. All the groceries are put away. Tomorrow I have a lot of work to do, some foods to cook, some to freeze, and some cleaning in there.

Tonight DH asked what he had to do tomorrow (he's taking to asking me that all the time now) and first I said nothing, then remembered we'd signed up for our church group breakfast tomorrow morning early. So we must be out early for that.

I've been texting with Sunny. She's in line for that storm to come close by. They've said it's 70 MPH now and going up to hurricane level, landing near her tomorrow morning. I'm wishing her safety while this bad weather slides on by.

Blessed, so happy that your bone is healed. Tell your ddogs to cut out injuring you!

That storm is where my dsis was last week.
I have painted the stool most of it any way.
Not the underside I want to tighten the bolts 1st. Done.
I put the fan on in the room it's in to help it dry.
New to me chair is great for the worktable in the butterfly room.
Big planes were doing take offs and landings near by practice stuff.
I have a meal plan for tomorrow thawing out some pork ribs for the crock pot tomorrow. yummy.

Adventure, Kathryn!

Hurray for a good report, blessed!

A good morning, although not nearly as nice sleeping last night. Did go to walk and avoided all but the quickest interactions.

It was free delivery day for a restaurant near us and HRH ordered sandwiches for our lunch.

I picked ds' children up this early evening and they stayed with us here until their parents' picked them up after date night. They helped me ponder my sewing room changes, talked non-stop to their aunt dd25, showed me two of their favorite Nflicks Kids shows - a superhero family and a funny cooking show.

Delighted to find a freebie pattern for a part of the quilt I'll be making. That's a positive.
