I am going to do some work/reward hourly sessions.
Work - Start at each top of the hour
** Outside - get hourly steps >250.
** Inside - Pick a room and improve something
Reward - watch youtubes. Not every minute of every video. Pick & choose what holds my interest, gives me knowledge and/or inspires me. Skip over the rest. When the next top of the hour arrives - stop video and get back to work.

We have a new (August 31, 2023 start date) radio station that dh and I have been enjoying. They just played "Country Roads" by John Denver... I also heard "the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" yesterday. I love the quirkiness of the tunes they play. Lots of Elvis as well.
Dishwasher has done it's thing after I unloaded it and reloaded.
Now, because I am slightly bored, I have sprayed the oven door with Dawn power wash. Now it's time to se if that "hack" from FBook worked.

Anti P day ~
I have vacuumed basement except under couch that is next.
I remembered I have 2 furniture dollies.
Emptied vacuum canister twice plus 2x more.
The rec room is half of the house the carpet part is 1/4th of the my home.
Vacuumed under two couches I have jar lids under the feet so they slide easier, upstairs had em
I put em under the one down stairs now.
Had not done that since spring.
Reward is checking in and sipping my cranberry juice.
This is great I have nearly done as much steps as a morning walk good to know!
-----
Had lunch got my steps in did a walk.
Main bathroom is cleaned! Yea!
I rested and watched 20 min of the movie I'm watching this week.
Swiffered the other bathroom & the hallway.
I used to watch stuff on the vaccines by Dr. Campbell not so much these days.
Moved a rosemary plant.

I cannot for the life of me figure out this version of QB and how to reconcile. It appears I've changed some prior transactions and "reconciled" without cash actually balancing? I did manage to enter and print two checks, one is in mailbox and one is to be dropped off in a resident's mailbox after the mail runs today. One small victory.

Re: WE Get it Done Wednesday PWYC
I'm taking a break here. I've been sorting and tossing and organizing at my desk. My 2 inboxes were pretty full. I don't know, I think I keep track of too many things. I do look back at things and wonder what I would do if I couldn't do that.
I have laundry going and kitchen's been all shined up.
I watch videos like that, LadyM, mostly in the evening. I have a few people I follow. A couple medical ones, a couple history ones and a few organizing / decluttering ones. Fortunately they don't put stuff in every day, mostly once a week, so it isn't too much. I have found I don't really enjoy much on TV these days. Hope you feel better.
Editing: I watched the video about the vaccine. Yesterday I watched part 1 of that. Anybody following these things, this video LadyM linked here (thank you!) is a shortened version of part 1 and about 10 minutes in the part 2 starts. Very good discussion.

Re: WE Get it Done Wednesday PWYC
These hourly work/reward sessions are working well for me today. I'm steadily making progress while still giving my body time to rest/recover.
DS15 is maxed out in preparing for possible hailstorms that will start in about an hour. He is moving multiple vehicles under cover. DH and I are taking a wait & seek approach because many times the line of storms will split and go around us. It usually turns out to be a big drama & bustle about raindrops. I understand the media must sell airtime and BIG DRAMA gets everyone watching.
I miss Kathryn posting. I hope life is going well with her and family

Re: WE Get it Done Wednesday PWYC
I started a post downstairs and left it sitting there when I came upstairs.
I got done with what I needed to do today. Two checks taken care of, and Aug and Sept bank stmts reconciled. Next week is the paper taming part - getting bills, etc. with each bank statement (for Cemetery as well as HOA) and then keeping it that way.
I too am missing Kathryn.

I got my MIL's birthday card and gift cards mailed. It "should" be there by 6 p.m. on Friday.
Cheeseburgers and mac and cheese from a box for supper. BBQ is heating up right now.

Re: WE Get it Done Wednesday PWYC
Sewed to a stopping place from which I can easily restart.
Did some cooking - skillet meal.
Baked a 3-layer Orange Cake with fresh juice (trying out for Halloween)
... finished icing in time to refrigerate a while then share first slices with HRH's friend.
Finally received the DPC from the other day - kinda long.
Filled out the emailed online forms for upcoming appointments.
Don't know yet about whether I'll be called upon to ride with dd25 to get cars straightened out. If they're not finished, she'll need to have my car an extra day.
How the cake turned out - first, I need to tweak that icing recipe. Great taste, but should be firmer, and more color-saturated in red/yellow. Cake batter needs more orange juice - color was pretty but as much coral-colored as orange, so maybe another drop or two of yellow. The men raved about it, though, and left no crumbs.
After the non-creative chores today, I'm pretty much convinced I deserve more sewing. Yes, yes I do.
Missing Kathryn, too.
Emailed Bookie to say again we hope she can get here. She should be backing us up on our crafting this season, because she's so experienced!
(Well, not "should be". Substitute "would have fun"
As in, "she would have fun gently correcting me on my mistakes.")
