Feels like I've been running errands all day.

1. landfill with dh.
2. Costco for ginger ale for dh.
3. Bank to deposit dh's cheque.
4. gas station to get "super" gas for leaf blower/lawn tractor.

Yam is wrapped in foil and ready for the BBQ.

So far I've got the following done --
* post office
* dmom's -- pruned shrubs somewhat, as much as 4" chain saw would do -- mostly stray branches, etc. -- returned her walker
* picked up dgd at school
* emailed notes to preacher at her request, she could not find the original email
* re-ordered something from a*mazon that would not go to a po box

Now... MUST s2s, go to fall festival at our "sister" church.
Tomorrow is another day.

I got upstairs and did not work on what needed to be done, but went down a rabbit hole. A productive rabbit hole, but nonetheless a rabbit hole. Did I say it was a lot of fun?

Our supper is grilled chicken, cooked spinach (a favorite of dh's but not for me...) and a baked acorn squash (in the oven already.) I've had this screen open for almost an hour and keep getting sidetracked.)

Tomorrow is workout, dinner out.

I got my son married today.

In car on the way home now. Dgs is asleep in the back seat. We took until almost 7 to get packed up. My fault because I did so much set up. I took 3 hours to get things unpacked and set up. Then a couple of hours today of picking up the trays and splitting them into two.

No rain, despite waking up to it this morning.

Tired. Will post a Pic or two when we get them.

Happy for your family, Kathryn. So glad it went well and that the rain held off. All best wishes to the happy couple.

Dstepson came and worked on the truck with HRH. He talked us out of one decision on a storage building and may have talked us into another. Not sure. He and HRH spent money on ordering parts for my car. I hope they will find they are competent to do all these mechanical things. They also ordered materials to seal the brick of our chimney.

I took sewing time out and made HRH a neck pillow to replace one he liked, but that had gone flat. Took an hour, so not so bad, and looks way better than the old one, in a fabric that seems more for a man.

Home and mostly unpacked although there is more to do when dfs comes with his car.

Dgs woke up when we came home and played for a couple of minutes while I set up the crib then whimpered so I put him to bed without any supper.

I'm out on the balcony having my bowl of cereal out here. It is still in the 60s and I'm so hot from running around that this feels good to sit here. Except there doing construction on the bridge and it is really noisy!

Off to bed now. Tomorrow will be busy.

Yes, sooo happy for the newlyweds In Canada! Congratulations and best wishes to all!!!

We are back from the fall festival, which was very nice.

I am trying to send an email for a Christmas gift — getting a personalized bobble head of dnephew playing football.
Dh asked if I was going to get dniece one too.
Hmmm — not right now. A doctor bobble head would be nice for her, but I have no pictures of her in her doctor’s coat. Plus, she’s not as “quirky” as him. I’m thinking I will wait and if she seems really carried away with it when he opens it, then I will promise her one when she completes her residency. Does that sound okay?

Dgs does not have a broken bone. Orthopedist said test and light activity and it should heal on its own.
Tomorrow is another day.
