Well I call Sundays pre-prep days and my Start day is on Mondays. When I worked I enjoyed my Sundays to the very last minute and ready for the week early Monday morning. So I still stick to that schedule.

Enjoyed my morning with no alarm but as usual I was up by 6:30 making my coffee. Watched my Sunday morning news show which I like because it focuses on more than just news. After it was over I colored my hair. Stripped my bed and launder my sheets. Took a shower and sat outside for a while to let my hair air dry. I don’t like to put heat on it right after I color it.

Read for a while till the rain showers brought me back in. Picked up foot prints and finished my morning routines. Vacuumed my house cause it was in need and tomorrow will mop it. I also remade my bed

I ordered another rug for my guest room. Same rug that I bought for my living room and office. This way I know it won’t stink. My biopsies are looking pretty ugly. Both are a bit larger than a nickel. Ones on my right shin and the other is on the left side of my face about 1.5 inches from my eye. If surgery is required for that I’m goin to have a plastic surgeon do it. I have to keep them clean and covered and was told it would take the one on my leg a while to heal.

I have two closets I have my eye on to declutter and reorganize this week…plus my bathrooms. I cleaned out and reorganized several shelves in my kitchen as well as several drawers last week so I have my eye on these closets

I made stuffed peppers for Sweetie last night so he’s having left overs tonight and perhaps tomorrow as well. While the kids were here last week they asked for apples for a snack. Much to my surprise Sweetie wanted one. In the 25 years I’ve been with him, I’ve never seen him eat an apple..since then he has eaten an apple every single day.. who knew

Ramblin', if it comes to that, you are wise to do the surgery that way at a place on your face - get the best result possible right away. I'm surprised that a place they've frozen a few times still gives trouble. I guess I have the feeling that's so final, but of course not necessarily.

Congratulations on the bedroom re-think project, Twins'. Hope it works out well.

We were confused that the morning worship service was dominated by one testimony. The fellow took more than the length of a sermon, and, frankly, had had little trouble in his life at all, everything comforting and... .. boring. Does that make me a bad person, to have assumed he must have some remarkable tale? Everyone's story is important, I know. But I really, really missed the sermon, which I've grown used to being thought-provoking and meaningful. There was barely time for a mini-sermon after that. HRH was questioning why they didn't just go on for another half an hour, then, or whatever was needed to complete the expected service, but I know there are reasons churches end when they say they are going to end. Definitely a week in which I'll look for new sermons from favorite authors, seminaries on YT. It's just that HRH doesn't look at recorded things with me much.

The painter came back for about an hour this afternoon for some oddities of particular trim work and HRH paid him, enjoyed a long conversation in the yard. We're very pleased. I told him it honestly looks like a brand-new building has been set down. The same blue of our front door and shutters, with white trim. Worth every penny. One thing done.

Start - Sun night and Mon morning for me. I do tend to "see" a start on Monday a.m. because the weekly planner is set up that way, even though my planner is more a diary of what is happening/happened than a plan of what will. I like to add my chores chart in the "notes" section each week, so I have made a master of those to photocopy on color paper and cut out, paste. It's probably the most change I ever make to the pages' look, and I do make it "M T W TH F S S" so it goes along with the pages. However, like P and P suggested, the night before I tend to make a 3x5 card of at least the day ahead, usually the week. So, in that way, I am having my planning jump-start on Sun night.

Hot here. Still 91 and nearly 8 p.m. Meeting was good, saw lots of old friends at temple, treated V to dinner out.

I did some straightening up after we got home. This morning my a.m. routine - what I do - was upended by working on the screened porch. Dh doesn't work by himself, must have someone attending to offer directions and work alongside, lol. So I was constrained in what I could do. The porch does look much better.

My hand is very sore tonight. I've iced and just took two ibuprofen. Typing with left hand is achy this p.m.
