A rush of memory about a pleasant dream last night - flooded me when I popped in here. I dreamed we had a long post from blessed but we couldn't access it and we were all trying to help each other see it. A little child was shaking her head over us and finally stepped in to help us with our technical difficulties. We could all see it as we all congregated around the same computer screen in one room, but it was child-height, so we sat on the floor, cross-legged, or bent over to point as we read aloud to each other, and it all seemed normal - didn't surprise us at all.

So, I'll leave you with that, for what it's worth.

We had errands in big city and HRH drove. He knows all the streets so well (as long as there isn't too much change, lol), and he decided to take a long way home to see if some old haunts were still there. I very much enjoyed pointing out the historic churches. He was pointing out buildings and places where he had worked or interviewed to work. He chuckled at one large, old building, where he was smart enough to turn down managing a food plant. There, he had been shown building plans for the brand-new facility supposed to be built right beside it, to bring it into the modern age. Nope - still a vacant lot, lol. He said he knew it somehow sounded too good to be true back then.

Rain, rain, rain, and long rides. Makes one feel as though ... .. I could nap.

This class isn't very interesting. The speaker probably knows his stuff but isn't familiar with Zoom, and isn't a very good teacher. IMHO he's going off topic a lot. Lots of long-winded stories. And someone isn't muted and they're humming and getting on my last nerve.

I grilled chicken inside on the George Foreman grill at lunchtime. I can add it to a salad later.

I sure wish we could hear from Blessed... and Harmony... and EmptyNester... and Elizabeth! And I know I'm probably leaving out Someone Important, but it is sad, worrying about these folks we've been missing for so long.

I have had an incredibly useless day, for the most part. I went to bed with high hopes. But then, morning with two dgrands... never fails to throw my morning routine off, and then follows that my whole DAY is off... and I did not s2s till 6:00 pm. :(
I have simply got to learn to s2bedtime when they are here. I think I could start a much better day if I woke up clean and ready to face the day.

ANYWAY, after breakfast with the dgrands at H*rdee's... we came back home, and DGS started stirring up the trouble the two of them had last night. (It involved a Monopoly game, and everything was going really well... until it wasn't.) I reacted by basically putting them both in time out with their screens. I know that is a terrible thing to do, but I was exhausted, and they were both mad at each other. DS, who got home this morning at 6:58, had asked for some time to sleep in, so I did not take them home till after noon. Then, I came home and slept.
Talked to dmom for a while... dragged myself around... got a phone call from DGS asking if I wanted to eat supper with them.
FINALLY motivated to s2s.
We ate at a sushi place; I just had fried rice and shrimp. After I got home I was still hungry -- I think they only gave me half a dozen shrimp. I've eaten too much since getting home, BUT --
I have exercised.
I have finished s/s the baths.
I have prepared a card that needs mailing tomorrow.

I've just been kinda edgy all day without the dgrands here. DDIL asked me to go to the Wonderful Wednesday thing in her place this week. I may have told y'all this. For no reasonable reason, this makes me a little nervous.
Dmom was talking about going to the beach again today -- but not till cooler weather returns. This also makes me nervous.
Got an email today saying hooray, only 43 days till College Football... sigh... y'all KNOW that makes me nervous.
I dread them going back to school... in 2 weeks and 3 days... but I don't see much hope for getting my act together consistently till they do.

I'm sorry I just don't have the brain cells to reply to all of you personally. I will do better tomorrow. I promise.
