Well, that round is done... mostly. There are a few dishes soaking, and a few things to clear off the counter. I decided to take a break and have a pb&j for lunch. I've got a couple of errands to run this afternoon. DS is deciding whether he wants to come with me, since one of them is going to the community garden to see what fruit might be ripe. I believe there should be some black currants and some raspberries. I know there's some Juliet cherries, but they're too sour to be an eating cherry. While I'm sure they'd make a lovely jelly, I'm not going to that much trouble this year.

Buuuttttttt of course, i wandered off and left this unposted
DS never got back to me about the garden, so I went with DH to the store to get a couple of things for visiting dMum tomorrow. I think I'd better get off my butt here and get a couple more things done before supper.
- refill meds
- put away clean dishes
- 5 minute pickup/tidyup

Nancy, so very sorry to hear you have so much smoke there are no vistas to enjoy. Take care of yourself.
bittersweet - caught up? with crafting? I never heard of that.
Tomorrow is Craft Supplies random decluttering day! (or, as I prefer to think of it, permission to play in fabric day)
We've had a quiet day. A surprise. If I'd had a crystal ball to tell me this, I might have arranged my Saturday differently. One reason may be that there's a family bday tomorrow, plus dd25 and dsonil are coming then.
I've attempted to manage my library account, but they are having tech difficulties. I want to ask for some books to be brought to our library. Oh, well, I'll try tomorrow.
I did order two used books on A-river. These are encyclopedic quilting books, way out of print. One was less than $10 but the other is one that is a definite reward. I've deserved rewards for so many things, I hardly know which to ascribe it to, but I suppose it's a reward for being so consistently cheap thrifty that I think of a used sewing book as a reward.

TY Harriet for saying that. A fire that was quickly put out 5 mi. out of town a field by the road caught fire.
I was able to get a walk in this afternoon and could see the hill to the north.
Had to set a boundry again sigh and was teary from all the stress of the week, can you say hormonal stuff.
~Sigh~
Some good news might get rain Mon. but in a week or so back up to 108* again.
I did not do any errands today it was just too smokey to think about that.
I did get some wool carded up and spun.
Did not watch Olympics not really in the mood for that.
I did do some p.m. reflections that helped.
News in the Middle East today was upsetting.
I am a bit stuck on a goal going forward one part of a writing project is not the best way to go I
think so am in the rethinking of it.
Another near by town has firefighters using a school, foot ball field and city park as a command center
for area affected 15 mi. or so towards Mont. in Ida. on the Res.
Another town had to be evacuated this weekend as the fire moves further East.
Stock trailers are being used to collect donations.
People had to let their horses loos b/c of the fire but were found and returned to owners.
Others had cattle feed burned and were asking for hay b/c of hungry animals.
Just a lot going on I guess tears are normal a good way to release stress.
Reminded of the date effected me too.
I have some mediative music on that helped.
Glad I could do a walk this afternoon with ddoggo, saw a pair of hawks, the flew silently in to the tree
and I heard the baby nestlings when they went to it that was cool no vid. of it but it was amazing!
Soaked my feet that helped.

I am so sorry for all of you dealing with the fires.
I’m troubled tonight about the jury duty letter. I put my selfish prayer request in J&C.
I’ve had a grandchild with me since yesterday evening. Just having them here helps so much.
