Doing a bit so the day is not a total loss. I swiffered kitchen & dining room.
Vac. the living room also
got the trash dumped.
Glad for at least some progress yea!

My team won.
I did the chore in the commercials tasks and that was helpful.

Twins', I hope you enjoy the meal. That's nice that someone is providing for ya'll!

Kathryn, is your sister's wayward phone still AWOL?

LadyM, I also feel a let-down of energy after stopping steroid. I assume I will balance out.

HRH says he enjoyed visiting on the porch this morning at my dcousin's house. He was sorry to hear from her dh that he has very little stamina, can only walk short distances. But their dog adored HRH and that was a fun conversation - sweet old beagle. Her dh takes care of two grandchildren every day, though, directing from just a couple rooms as the authority figure, while the older grandchild sort of serves as his "runner" around the house. It's working for them, with supervision for children, company for him.

I haven't heard anything further, but at least I did everything I could do about that shower. My cousin's dd was supposed to order from an A-river gift list for my cousin and herself. She forgot (busy young mother herself). I told my cousin over the phone, to just add her own name to the gift tag on mine, lol, because I was so helped by her that she deserved credit somehow. Of course she wouldn't, but it was funny. They will give a big pack of diapers - the most appreciated gift, probably, lol.

Ds and dgs12 came and mowed, weed-eat-ed, and the lawn looks good. They were grateful to get the lawn mower fixed.

DgdC and I had a little time together and she learned a few things, showed me her favorite colors, sorted through some fabrics. She and I are looking forward to some happy sewing time next week.

Because of the big storm, we still do not have electricity in the LR, the hall. Electricians can't get back to us on the few leftover things because so much has jumped ahead in line. It is not very inconvenient yet - no one is visiting except homefolks as the waters recede, anyway. My toothbrush seems to be recharging enough during the times the lights are on.

Dd25 called and gave me a long pep talk. She and dsonil will come by tomorrow. She has promised to take dd44's set of nephews for pizza while DangerBoy is home, and she has dgs12's bday gift, which finally arrived.
