Hmmmm.... Twins', don't do too much.

I'm working with you, but off schedule sitting right now after a stint cleaning the kitchen.

Almost put dr's thoughts here, but maybe tmi. I'll do it elsewhere, then head back to catch up to TOTH.

I did my entry for the writing project entry before heading outside.

I have been working / gardening or in the garden rather.
In any case clipping and gathering seeds of very bright hot pink in color flowers that
reseed well and put them in more beds around the back yard.
I had 1 qt cottage type container to put them in and then cut em off the stems carefully before inverting them
\and crushing them to go in the various beds. The ddoggo was going around sniffing and doing dog things.
It was a fun thing to think on more flowers for next year.
That was what I thought of when I asked the what's next q.
now I am thinking Sunnies will be for another day as they are not quite ready yet.
Most of those are in the front beds now.
There are some seeds I can get from a friend on my walk or at least in the past I got some.

Yeah, Harriet, I didn't remember it hurting so when the other cast came off. Of course, it was immobilized before so I just had to work out different ways of using it.

I made good progress. I thought I left things in good shape day before yesterday, but dh did not do much to keep things up. In fact, I've photographed five pairs of shoes that he has left abandoned. Four were at least in the closet, two of those close to where they live. And one was pair was in our great room. I left the ones in the closet but put away those that were apparent in the public spaces.

He mentioned he might have someone "coming over for bourbon" tonight. I hate those impromptu invitations and need to tell him to clear it before asking. It interferes with our supper time. Have to cook earlier and clean up quickly. Or tell him he can only invite someone for an early "cocktail hour" but they need to be gone by supper time.

Working another round. Also will take a shower without the cast!

lol, Twins' my life is different from yours. HRH might well holler, "Where are my shoes! Elves come in this house and take my shoes!" and then we'll find them at the oddest places.

Finished in the kitchen. Might vacuum. Will work in sewing room. bbl

Very thankful that the consultation for dh's colonoscopy went well. Dh has to be there next Wednesday at 8:30 and we should be home before lunch time.

I also had to pick up some paperwork at a local bank, bring it home for dh to sign and have it back before 5 p.m. So that was another item I got done this afternoon.

Litter boxes got cleaned last night, so that's another job off the list.

Now I just have to empty the dishwasher and make supper.

I did get my spinning done up for today & carded up the next batch.
Next flix reward for my ward of work done today.

Went to the GriefShare meeting, even though I was up a lot in the night — cold? Allergies? I don’t know.

Came home, Decided not to go to church tonight. Sinus headache, runny nose, sore throat.

More College Town thoughts…
Ds and ddil think they might ask dbil and his girlfriend to let dgs go with them sometime if it’s a weekend that dgs doesn’t want to miss the high school game on Friday and ds can’t go on Saturday.
I hope they won’t think well, that’s silly, Lucy should able to do that.

A lot of enjoyment with dgdC sewing. She is deliberate, slow, much more accurate than I expected. We finished one quilt block and HRH called us to supper, which was also good. She was in a hurry to get back to sewing, lol. I think she was genuinely disappointed when she heard the knock at the door. There's more to do when she comes back.

Dgs was unable to talk to many of his teachers because there were just so many students and parents there. He'll be on a new hall and he's excited about that. Did get to spend time with the new science teacher and was impressed with that room, he said.

Tomorrow night is dgdC's night for orientation.

The extreme hot temperatures are gone (at least for the next 10 days). It is 97F (101 feels like) at 7pm and it is comfortable to be outside doing things. The predicted temperatures for the next 10 days are still triple digits but lower (101-110) than the brutally hot temps we have been having. Even though it feels comfortable outside I am still keeping DH inside in a/c after 9am.

I am tinkering with a new challenge for myself. I am trying it out today and I think it will be good for me. I'll try it another day or so before I commit to doing it.

The handyman finally came to look at bathtub replacement and give us a quote. He made 3 appointments before showing up. The first appointment he was a no-show and texted 5 hours later with an apology that he got busy. The second appointment he cancelled because he was tied up doing something else. Not a great start since we don't have any experience using this fella. He isn't well thought of as a person in the community, but his professional work is good. His quote was reasonable, but he can't do it for 4-6 weeks. He wanted us to sign a contract tonight and I passed. I told him I accept his quote and he can start anytime. However if I find someone else to do it quicker then I will go with that option.
I am tempted for DH and myself to do it. If DH mental health was stable then I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

I carded up the rest of the blue wool and blended it with white for the heather and got a ball of it spun up and wound off the spindle. Got a couple more smaller things I drafted and spun up. Glad for the progress yea for that! Now I can take one of the containers I was using out of the livning room.

Did up the dishes and bot them put away.
