I slept really late this morning, 9:30ish.

We have some sun again today, it's hard to believe it's 15 Sept and the month is half gone. Even harder to believe that the autumn equinox is coming up next week end. And Rosh Hashana is two weeks and four days away. Thinking, thinking. I need to start that list of what I can do to prepare.

Dh has gone to the office to do some of his continuing education that needs to be done annually. He wants to get it off his mind so I'm kind of puttering around.

Four appointments this week between PT and working out.

I'm worried a little about dd. I missed her call yesterday when I was walking the dog (I was lucky there) and she called dh to dump her issues. Car needs work, can't get fixes made to apartment appliances, and her supervisor at work asked her what the status of a project was, but acknowledged that dd is working like crazy right now. A lot of times things blow over with her after she's unloaded on us, and we go on worrying about it when she's worked it out. But I worry.

I have been able to sleep till 6 ddoggo needed out.
Had coffee qt journaling done.
We have walked.
I decided to not turn on the game but to check score after going out to bag up onions.
I have three black bags of em full they are a pest and noxious weed in the next state over so I did not feel bad.
I am not done out of bags and these other need to dry a bit more to be able to shake off the dirt.
Glad for that activity before rain the next couple of days.
This was a way better use of my time.
Ddoggo enjoys it when I work outside too!

Did another round of raking outside looks like rain so glad I did that beforehand.

We are actually seeing some sunshine today too. We had probably 12" rain within 36-48 hours. Rescue squad had to get some people out of their houses, and at least one person off the top of his truck. But things seem to be calming down today, water receding everywhere.

I am just exhausted, y'all. Please forgive me for such a short post. When I lie down at night, I start coughing, and last night, I was really miserable. I had taken some Rx cough med that has codeine in it, PLUS a Musinex, and I was still coughing so much I couldn't sleep till nearly daylight. Woke up at 8:00 for church, gave myself another 30 minutes, and now I am more than ready for a nap.
Kids are playing nicely for the time being.

Well, that round is finished (except for a couple of pieces of bedroom furniture that I'll do once DH wakes up) The cookies are all baked and cooling. These are the ones I make for dMum, and heaven help the world if I run out!

Of course, the minute I mention him, DH wakes up I guess that means I need to get moving again. I've got a couple of hours before we leave to go visit dMum, so I'd better make good use of them.

- put away the clean dishes
- wash the rest of the dishes
- vacuum/wash kitchen floor
- finish dusting bedroom furniture
- change Scentsy

Lucylee, you jinxed me. I went out to walk ddog a lap or two and rain started up again! I'm glad you're done, though, do you really need a new roof or is it just leaks in jointing sections?

I am going to drag myself out of the rabbit hole and get something done here. (Whoops, I said that and I think I heard the garage door open, meaning dh will be back home.) Forget that for the moment.

bs I sat outside on the couch on our screened porch and it smell like a wet dog. Need to do something about it before RH, when people will be outside.

Guys, I can't post a link to the article btw, it's only available to NGS members although I have a limited no of printed copies I can distribute later. It's deadly boring to non-genealogists anyway.

I'm going to set my timer for 45 min. I have so many things I'm started here, or "meant" to do and never got to...I'm not even setting priorities, just walking around observing.

actually I am thinking of joining the local lutheran church - I have an appointment in October. It's a smaller church with lots of community.

dd older took d mom out to do errands. Mom is so much better getting out of the house. Mom even bought flowers for me! enjoying the moment. She does really well when she is busy.

today she slept until 11:00 am so I assume she was up last night.

I worked in the kitchen and boy it took awhile. I didn't wash the floor but swept it well

I may not be able to come back today bc dd's, mom and I are going to dinner at a French restaurant - I love real French home cooking but fancy schmancy is not my thing bt I will still enjoy the time together!

It's amazing what 45 min can do. Filled meds containers for the week, finished up with cleaning CPAP stuff, rebooted laundry and folded sheets from Friday, put away the spring things that were still out, took out some autumnal. Dh helped earlier - got down the bins and I changed out the porch cushions on the front porch and he got those bins put away, so that's done.

I need to eat something and walk the dog. I'm also working on troubleshooting my computer, this is the new one. I can't get Onenote to stop messing with me. I don't want it!
