I have had lunch napped then swept out the potting shed, move my newly painted
side table down stairs to shift things around for it and see if had room for the rocking chair iffy not really.
One or two of the lighter weight side tables could go out on the deck was my thinking.

Glad to see the check ins from those in the areas with weather issues.
It's calm here so far yea!

Got my steps in for today too double yea!
Happy to have resolved a tech issues spaces or lack of them are important!

I have put another section on the crochet hot pad watched the rest of my series.
Then went out and tied up the rose canes so I do not have to keep ducking under them when
I go thorough the gate.

Glad to see the CI from those in the path of the weather.

DH and I decided to make a trip to the city this morning to get a few errands accomplished. I was reluctant to take DH to multiple stores because I suspect the overstimulation triggers episode of short-term amnesia. Even knowing the possible repercussions DH wanted to do it so we did. I will be observing if DH has amnesia tomorrow.

Kitchen doings....This morning I made a big egg/vegetable scramble and packaged portions for easy future meals. This afternoon I made a pot of salsa from the garden tomatoes, peppers, onions, and spices. I am out of the portion size 1 cup mason jars that I typically use so I am storing the salsa in quart jars which means I will have to measure one portion at a time. We brought home chicken strip dinners for the family to have.

I am catching up with videos that are part of this month's health focus for Real Food Mentorship.

Still gray and windy here, and we've had light rain. I stayed in my pajamas until past three p.m. when I took ddog out to walk. I did one lap, then saw dfriend M coming out to walk with R uby, so we walked another lap with them.

My foot is not better. Of course, dh said today that his foot hurts there all the time. He's gone off to a football game this evening.

I'm trying to make good use of my time by working on HOA accounting. :?

Well, LadyM, the Sooners are the joyful team in the southern part of our state today. I’m glad I spent most of the game sleeping on the couch.
Dgs just came in the den and said, “ Georgia BETTER beat Alabama.”
Tomorrow is another day.

(((Twins))) I have BTDT! I lost my engagement ring. This was probably before ds was born, so in the early years of our marriage. I told dh about it of course, and actually he was the one who found it. When he gave it back to me, he held it out and asked if I would marry him.
I’m sure I had prayed about finding it, and I am praying yours turns up soon!

Also praying for Marla and others in the storm area!
Tomorrow is another day.

I watched zero football today & last Sun. as well.
The yd sale sold the chair I was considering yea do not have to worry about that.
Got a mini cooler for the dog's lunches, or a sandwich & beverage for me while I was at it.
I finished a hot pad and considering my options for the next one in similar colors I do not have enough yarn to do
one exactly the same but can do ones in that color family.
Did up my dishes after dinner.
Glad neighbors are finally trying to train their dogs to not bark at me & my dog so that is encouraging.
They made some progress on it then were gone a while on va. I think this summer and lost ground on that mission.
S2 bare feet in new pj's too.

lucylee, I'm sure your ds is on cloud nine following his wonderful night.

Found out today that dd26 has been without electricity since yesterday morning. A little miffed at her for not telling us. I guess they kept thinking it would come back on. But now they know there are several downed power line situations between them and electricity. She says most of the city of her address (she's not really within the limits) is without power, as if we should have known she might be. Auuuuuggghhhhh. Anyway, they are spending the night with his parents, which doesn't make me feel so good either, not because I don't grudgingly see that they are the smarter choice, but because that means his parents must have known for a long time to get ready.

Dstepson came and cut up the tree that fell. Dd44 stopped by.

Nancy, I've been seeing such cute hot pads and potholders ideas. That's what I should be thinking about to get out of my kinda down feeling lately. I bet your new one is cute. Your Christmas gift folks will be getting such nifty presents.

I don't think I will take any more OTC meds. Something is making me so dry that I have quite a cottony mouth. I tried to eat a saltine cracker and couldn't. Now, when you can't eat a saltine cracker without going to get a glass of water your mouth is too dry. And also nothing tastes good. I realized I'd had my big smoothie recipe this a.m. - very filling - but hadn't eaten anything else and didn't really want anything. I asked myself what I wanted ( :? ) and came up with toast. Hmmm... .. so I had a fried egg on toast w/salt and pepper. That covers the base of possibly not getting enough sodium today because I'd concentrated on fruits/greens. I'm going to listen to lucylee and believe tomorrow is another day.
