I'm just all over the place. I told dfriend M that I need a couple of walks around the circle and friend therapy regarding this RH party. I could do it without knocking myself out so much, but won't. And honestly, I don't know why I keep doing it given the lack of support from dh. Maybe things will be different next year with him retired? He didn't know what time he would be home from work today and asked if going to workout at seven was okay with me. That would leave him busy until 8:30ish, and he will want to leave for temple by 9:15 "to get a good parking spot." I typically show up late to this service and do some final touches here before I go.

I got groceries unloaded and perishables put away when I got home. And punched down and rolled out and shaped the first challah. It's risen now and is in the oven. And I cleaned up enough to start the second loaf of challah. I'm eating brunch now - got a Publix salad which I supplemented with dark leaf lettuce, a boiled egg, and some leftover pork loin cubes. I had breakage/spill which I needed to clean up - got up glass and got the floor dry. I'll need to go over it again and then damp mop.

Salad is finished. I start work again at 12:15 for 45 min. First up is to clear the kitchen counters enough for making gelfilte fish. And I need to put away the rest of the grocery items.

That was a productive round. Laundry rebooted and the bit load of cleaning rags and towels going. "Long kitchen counter" that forms an L is clear, except for things related to tomorrow or challah.

The alarm for the challah went off almost at the same time my timer went off, so short break this time.

hello all.
it's nice not having to pick up d mom yet. Getting on a routine helps me not feel guilty about mom being bored.
I am hoping to make spanakopita for dinner
I need to pull the tomatoes bc it's going to start getting colder
I also have beets that need pulling and cooking

checked on my garlic order - I am not thrilled with Bur pee - besides their exorbitant delivery fees, they are not good on relaying if things are on hold.
I ordered my garlic In August and I usually plant my garlic in September. I am fine if they tell me that their vendor doesn't have product and I could look elsewhere. Now they are advertising and selling garlic (they don't have), at 25% off. mmmm I believe I should get 25% off my order if the items haven't been shipped yet. oh - there you saw it - a grumble, a mumble, whine, find fault with, complain and so on. It's a small thing but grrrr!

I have been to the market & got fuel and few things for the next few meals I needed like 3 things got 6.
Rinsed off the rig / then had to change b/c I got pre- washed myself LOL!
Had my lunch.

Waiting on sox before I walk I guess, windy and dgoggo so dis- likes wind she was not interested.
I am doing pretty well on my steps so far with laundry and yard work.
Processed mail none of it was really important. Dealing with it each day has really helped my paper taming.
My zone work yesterday was getting some fall colored items in Liv. room and taking out summer colored items.
I like it. Move a couple wall hanging items around too.

I'm impressed you're still getting tomatoes, bw2! My zinnias had help up well until the torrential rain last week. Except for a few blooms here and there they are shot!

Second challah is in oven. Once it's out, the gelfilte (chopped) fish will be next in oven. I can start on a real clean up and put things away too. There's been too much cooking to clear everything. And I'll run the dishwasher. Fish smell!

Kitchen is relatively clean although still cluttered. Lots to put away. Dishwasher is going.

I have a list that I made this a.m. So far only four things crossed off. There are seven more, plus probably others, including putting the rest of the stuff away that's in the kitchen. (breadmaker, pantry items, plus I pulled a bunch of plastic out that had fallen off its shelf, I'd like to sort that and get rid of any w/o lids or bottoms. I don't know how much more energy I have.

The dog is making me crazy.

Home from a successful trip to do errends in the city.
** Sutherlands - looking to see what products are available to do bathroom walls
** HD - Ditto above
** Higdons - get brakes checked on Suburban. There was a 2 hour wait so we opted to do this a different day.
** Golden Corral - lunch out
** Sam's - gas in vehicle. Get presciptions. Restock pantry.
THIS IS CRAZY! I had flashbacks to covid times when store shelves became empty. Our brand of T-paper was totally empty and most of the other brands were low. I can only guess it is panic buying because of the port strike. ???

I am tickled to find some large beautiful mums at a great price ($2.49). I like growing Mums because they flower and stay green most all winter. They will survive for 2-3 years before dying. Now I have to decide what parts of my raised beds I am willing to grow Mums for the next couple of years instead of growing vegetables. Each Mum plant take up about a 3' diameter so spacing matters.

I have walked ddoggo and bonus bucket list item saw fencing & workers small truck I've seen in the neighborhood before.
I asked if they do fence yes yea! Got a card and texted em about a chain link gate I need put in the fence is like done except for
the gate install a small one. None of the family knows how or wants to do it. Wish me luck. LH brought the gate home from work
one day but never got to it.

1st load of laundry is put away yea.
I do not hear the dryer so I need to get up and check on it.
And finish it if it's done.

Then I can do a bit of yarn crafting.
Last load of laundry is done & put away yea!

At the market is looks the same except some of the freezers are out of commission.
