TADA -
** Back porch outdoor rug removed and sprayed off. It is drying in the sunshine now.
** Visited with DS16 as he prepared to leave for work.
** A tub of rabbit food spread among the raised beds to compost. The tub is now washed out and drying in sunshine.
** Enjoying my first jar of tea.
** Reminded DH we leave in an hour for lunch with friends. He is pulling weeds while the ground is softened from the recent rains.
** Filled 2 newly created spots with dark, rich composted soil.
** Observed radishes and beets seedlings are popping up where I planted seeds a few days ago. It is a race to get them established before the cooler weather arrives.
** Painted a half dozen metal art pieces bright red. I use the red art pieces in the strawberry beds. So far it seems to work to keep the birds confused and not bothering the ripe strawberries.

Ah, thinking of Harriet as she undergoes a minor procedure this afternoon.

I've been busy. I went to the post office and dropped off two packages and a card. Also checked HOA box. Have made several cards and I'm getting into the flow. Need to stop long enough to clean up the desk but I'm on a roll. Oh, I also stopped at library and dropped off donation books, but...I kept two of them.

I'm disappointed I've only sold $10 of old retired SU stamping things, but OTOH after I hold them for a week or maybe a little more I'll have no qualms about dropping them at a donation center.

Love NNL, Nancy! You are on a roll today, as is LadyM!

Waving to bw2 and Cathy!

Ta-da! I am s2s and have done my Bible reading, sent teacher group email, and also listened to a website re: grief AND a website re: anxiety.
I am watching kileybutler@renew-lifecoach.com. She is a pastor's wife and supposedly teaches how to renew the mind, to eliminate constant anxiety, ruminating thoughts, etc. She bills herself as a certified Christian brain-health coach. However, she has a 12-week (via phone calls) program, and she doesn't say how much it costs. :? There is a free call to let you know if this would be helpful.
Sigh. I think we all know I could use something that helped get rid of anxiety... but when a site doesn't tell you how much it costs, I immediately get nervous. OTOH, telephone counseling might be the very best thing for me. I'm sure in-person counseling would be expensive also.

Anyway -- today's PODA:
[ ] post office, (mail and buy Christmas stamps if they have them)
[ ] bank
[ ] Wmart/grocery store (to buy the non-perishables for Tgiving
[ ] vacuum carpet/rugs in main area of house and * maybe * master bath

Don't know how many cards I've made today. Going to try to stamp tomorrow, while sipping my clear fluids. At least that will keep me out of the kitchen?

And I'm on hold (17 min so far) with Express Script re prior authorization for meds. Frustrated.

Dreading the next day and a half! Need to start first prep at six p.m., that is, basically now.

I do not have many ta-das to celebrate, but the ones I have are important!

• Dropped DC off at school
• Went to the urgent care (these new meds have my heart rate up, and I was getting worried
• Had a phone call with the doctor’s nurse
• Had a phone call with the doctor
(then farted around a bit)
• Realized I had enough time before I could pick up my new prescription to do some dishes and did them all!
• Tried to get my prescription (they were out of it, and it had to be ordered in) (sad trombone: mwa-mwomp)
• Picked DC up at their girlfriend’s

And now I am sitting in the comfy chair with an afghan over me. I should go do some laundry, but I’m having a hard time getting myself to leave the warm blanket.

I am waiting for the washer to finish with a load of laundry that I had to push myself to just turn on the machine after tossing a laundry pod into it and closing the door. We don't really sort much any more. Very few white/lights/brights around here in the cooler weather. We just put our dirty laundry into the machine until I decide it's time to do a load. Less than 10 minutes before I can throw it all into the dryer and then I can go to bed.
