grateful that dh smiled after I checked on him - he was sitting in his chair sleeping and he woke for a moment. truly grateful I have had a little time on my own. I haven't heard from dd younger about d mom. I think I will text her to make sure she got there and to see how mom is doing.

I had two loads of dishes  that I didn't do last night - it was two loads!!!!
Second load of dishes is now washing themselves

dd Youngers bulging disc is flaring up - she is in a lot of pain - praying that goes away soon and that her CPRS doesn't go into full blown pain.

Customer/friend stayed and talked.... and talked.... and talked for over an hour. She repeats every sentence twice in a row with the second time being buried in a pile of giggles. It's cute for a minute or two. Then I had a blissful 2 hours all to myself. I turned off the stereo as soon as dh left the driveway and truly had 2 hours of silence. Then I went to the Friday afternoon knitting group and there were 15 women there, all talking to someone. Kind of like 7 conversations going on all at the same time, in a small room. There were 13 around the table with 2 sitting on corners. That's the most we have had on a Friday afternoon in quite a while. I left a bit earlier than usual because it was just too much.

Now I have made the Shepherd's pie ingredients. I just have to mash the potatoes and stick it in the oven at 4:30.

Busy afternoon …
Cleaned and reorganized my linen closet
Cleaned and reorganized under my sink cabinet

Went through my winter boxes and got out my sweaters for my trip. Got my bags out of the attic. I have vacuum bags so I put my sweaters in and sucked and sealed them. Same with my winter coat.I am only bringing 5 sweaters, one which I would wear while traveling and two pair of pants, one part that I will travel in. That means I only need to pack my undies, pjs and socks along with my cosmetics and an extra pair of shoes. I’ll pack Sweeties on Sunday. Didn’t expect to get everything done so soon.

I have a bag that goes under the planes seat that I will pack with my meds, connectors and snacks. Now if everything just goes as planned, but I’m just gonna go with the flow. Went to the bank yesterday so that is done.

And my absolutely wonderful ds will pick us up at 4:30 am and take us to the airport.

So you're leaving in the morning, RR? Have fun!

I posted over in J&C, I think I'm relieved, but concerned. And no response to my email re: a therapist for me.

Had a nap this afternoon with the dog. Dd and dh talked about broadway shows, and they got tickets to Suffs - a suffragette musical. https://www.broadway.com/shows/suffs/?g ... coQAvD_BwE I honestly wasn't sure that dh would go for it but he did, she will go with us on Tuesday p.m. I think we'll also see Hadestown, and I'll get those tickets tomorrow. Other than that we'll go to museums - I always like to go to the Metropolitan museum of art and dh prefers MOMA, Museum of Modern art. And hopefully, we'll relax too. The last two years the weather has been abysmal when we've been there in December, but a week out it looks like the it may be okay with cloudy skies but little chance of rain.

Our supper is grilled chicken, baked sweet potatoes, and a green veggie.

dh just told me that he made a glaucoma appointment the day before thanksgiving  he has know for weeks (about a month).

I bought a med e lert pill dispenser that is recommended for early dementia patients (it's also in the Alzheimer's store). I really don't think she will understand the flipping of meds out of container - I have a feeling the alarm will through her off

Blessed that’s nasty what your neighbors do with their dogs… if it were me I would shovel it and put it back in their yard. Make sure you smile and wave when you do it

Twins… glad to hear about your daughter and perhaps good things will come from it. I’m not leaving for NJ, across the NYC bay from you. It’s suppose to rain most of next week but especially on Thursday and Friday. I have umbrellas already packed. Are you flying in to Newark or the other NY airports? I’m flying into Newark. I’ll fly home on the following Monday.
