Glad the mending went well, Harriet.

The market did not go that well for most vendors I think. It was not well attended - I think too many other holiday things going on right now maybe? There was a large holiday market at our convention center, and it's just a busy time of the year for so many. I sold only 16 cards and have a lot of Hanukkah cards left over. I think I'll take out what we want to send, and maybe a few for next year, and offer the rest to the temple for their little stock of judaic items for sale. And donate any proceeds to them, of course. Or perhaps save for another possible market? not sure right now.

I need to inventory cardstock etc. and place an order to replenish some colors. There's free shipping which ends today but if I can't get that done I can't do it.

I had a dish cloth 3/4th of the way done had to rip it out to just under 1/2 done found a mistake oh well
have reknit that part and am 8 rows from being done with this one now. Should be done by the end of the day / week.

I have enough cards for my little list but I'm almost always adding. And I need to get with dh to see who we should send Hanukkah cards to, considering that I have a lot of them! And pretty soon I need to redirect myself! I've spent a lot of my spare time stamping over the last months.

I did enough to move the marker on the current crochet project a red hot pad.

This afternoon worked on plying some wool on my spinning wheel did up three bobbins of that single ply in yarn glad for that in the basement
on a rainy day glad to have it done now yea. With still more to ply up. Glad for this progress.

Got the rest of that batch of balls of wool played up yea!

Gave myself some circular knitting needles have been using them on the new pink ombre yarn for a baby blanket.
Got some lavender ombre yarn for a different projects.
Got some of that granny square variegated blue 2 large skeins of yarn I will do something other than granny squares with it.
I luv the colors in this batch got 4 skeins of it.

I'll have more sweats to hem sage green in color after I put them through the laundry.
I started a hot pad. Bright green.

Perhaps this is not too bad a photo of the little character that dd26 came up with for Christmas this year. She gave this original pen and ink to her Daddy. I'm afraid the reflective glass shows my toboggan or something. She keeps a running grouping of funny or strange cartoon characters that will someday inhabit a world she'll put together in book or other.

I have asked her his name. I think next year she should make a wrapping paper or thank you note out of him.[/color]

Great Drawing reminds me I need to add art to my journals.

I have some things I want to do to write about
in light of the new law in Ca. of the clothing excess in land fills to cut back on that.

make a list of things I've upcycled with a sewing project of worked with fabric or clothing.
1. Example I have an old quilt a cutter quilt for something...
2. I cut of skinny jeans for Capri length ones that works now.
3. I made tote and aprons out of feed sacks.
4. Jean quilts out of old jeans.
5. made Christmas tree ornaments
6. Woven fabrics on my loom.
7. Made a striped pillow from canvas fabric that was jeans before.
8. Used fabric trim ends for stuff pillow.
9. Donated old towels to vet clinic for clean up near by.
10. I made market bags from tee shirts.
