Thought I would post after a quarter-year with this one. Found another attribute that is poorer quality now. The paper is thin. When I use any dark colored flair it shows through on the other side, so I have to use light colored ones or go over to ballpoint. The different colors of pens help keep different things separate, like what I've eaten, etc., so that's a shame.

I've never had writing show through to the back of planner pages before. I just need something higher quality.

The stamp for my tracker has been doing fine. Btw, gray is not the right color - it comes out silver and too light. I got a pack of various color inkpads to replace it and several of them work fine.

The large paperclip with bright ribbon tied on has been a help. I can go right to the correct page anytime the planner is closed.

Still like best the mascot-like stickers (some kind of cheerful animal, insect, scarecrow, snowman, etc.) to set an encouraging tone for a week's two pages. The objects like indoor chairs or little outdoor fences, etc., are pretty but seem pensive and too serious.

Cardfile is still number one around here, but I do like the planner for an overview at one glance, especially if it can be colorful and chipper. Nancy, so far, I haven't ventured into planners for other needs.

LadyM had mentioned getting a dopamine benefit from checking off items she had completed.

I found this young man's video (it's about 7 months old) very interesting on making a bare-bones planner that he calls his Dopamine Diary

He mentions a lot of the benefits and obstacles we've chatted about here. But the emphasis on dopamine being released in response to completing tasks, using such a cheap little pocket planner, was interesting to me.
