I got to the morning group less than 10 minutes late. The other lady was sitting in her truck waiting for me. She said she had just gotten there.

Got to the afternoon group on time and I was the only one there again, so I came home. The other lady got in touch and she WILL be there next week. Sad when groups that used to be large (more than 10 people every week) are now down to 1 or 2 every week for the past 4 years.

One of the things we talked about this morning was china cabinets and the stuff in them. How our children have no desire for any of it. They don't want our old china, they don't want our furniture. They don't want personal items or books.

I'm home, Lucy! (Spoken in Ricky Ricardo voice)

Got here about 12:30, dMillie has been estatic. We walked her a lap and dh went to the office and I had a totalling satisfying nap. I did an Instacart order for delivery between 3 and 5. but didn't hit "Place Order" so it's delayed, now 4:30 -5:30. I must go out to the drugstore this afternoon. And do a thousand other things, that I'm not doing yet. I'm having coffee so heading out is next. Hopefully it's quick and easy errand.

Cathy I was just thinking about that china hutch things in it and the other items you mentioned.
Took out planner pages I purged from 2023. That did feel great I must admit.
Got two more boxes emptied out so more progress is good in the form of more square footage reclaimed once again.
In that 8x10" bed room or what ever the dimensions are it's not very big the smallest one in this house. So extra boxes in
it fills it up fast.

All D's have been delt with except for dusting so that will be soon.
Still frosty out so I am happy to be inside doing this type of stuff.
Caught my show missed the first segment then looked on YouTube and enjoyed getting that part for context.
It was a rerun but long enough ago that I"m in a diff. place emotionally so it was good to hear that info. again.

Not really hungry but waiting on my phone to charge up to get my step count.
I like the guide on the TV I could tell the ten o'clock show was one I"d seen so went to bed at nine last nite.

We are having glorious weather. Bright sunshine, 51F, with no wind. I keep going outside because it feels so good to have nice weather again. I hope this nice weather spreads across the land and reaches each of you.

I decided that I am ready to start grilling outside again. I have a love/hate relationship with grilling. I love the flavor and experience but am lousy at keeping the grill clean. After cooking the grill is too hot to clean, so I walk away.....and forget about it. When I am ready to start grilling, I don't want to start by having to clean previous gunk off. ANYway, I have ordered a small grill and will try again.

That really was quick. I went outside to get mail and get in the car, and dh called and said he would stop there, since he goes right by. I asked him earlier if he would and he seemed reluctant so I didn't push him.

Instacart shopper has checked out.

-------

And a bit later. I texted dmassage therapist to cancel tomorrow a.m.at 11:30. I also have a therapist appt at 1 p.m. and then workout 3 - 4 p.m. I just can't manage another appointment tomorrow. I had to load up on workout tomorrow because of being away today.

I'm drinking water. I only had one cup of coffee this a.m. and then not much water, and flying is dehydrating.

I also did Zepbound injection, brought in and put away groceries. And got the password reset for the HOA water account. (I have the old password but couldn't log in, and reset password email had to go to dneighbor, who was HOA treasurer before.) There are three water company pylons by our club house so I'm wondering if there is a problem of some kind?

While away the website gal got the site set up again to receive payments and have received two online. I have a bunch of checks that have been dropped off that will need to be deposited.

We primarily saw cloudy skies in Florida. Saturday was decent, but Sunday cloudy most the day. The evening was pleasant outside in the courtyard at the synagogue last night. Here at home we had rain this a.m. and clouds, but the sun just broke through. I'd love to have some pleasant weather. Dneighbor told me that they saw "Phil" our resident groundhog yesterday so perhaps he'll get us an early spring.

Hey, all! I got in today, no problem!

Busy day here — two appointments — first the ultrasound, since the biopsy didn’t show anything wrong, then my psychiatrist appointment to discuss my Adderall dosage. In between was dropping DD at work and then taking DC over to the college so they could audition for a play. (I have no idea how that went.) DH did the pick up runs while I babysat the oven (meat loaf) and served out salads.
Now I’m just waiting for Jeopardy! :D

This week is HOCO but my teens don't want to attend. However, I think it is a good experience to get all dressed up occasionally. I gently encouraged them to consider doing that. They don't have to go to the HOCO dance at school, but they can still get dressed up and do something different. DS16 and his girlfriend accepted my challenge. DD13 did consider doing it for a few hours, but then decided she didn't want to do it. DS16 and girlfriend15 just left to go shopping for dressy clothes. If DS16 finds clothes that he likes, he will DUO (video chat) to show me and get approval to purchase. It seems strange to me that they are old enough to do this by themselves. Time is flying by fast.

I made some progress increasing the ready-to-eat stash. It just takes a lot of food when 10-12 meals are being consumed each day. 75% of what I cooked today is already gone. Food cooked today -
"** Eggs, bagels, bacon, hot link, potatoes
** Chicken vegetable soup
** Cheesecake strawberry
** Shrimp
** Chicken breast Tenders BBQ
** Smoked Sausages"

I placed 2 curbside orders to pick up tomorrow. Prices of food are rising so much that the totals had me double checking what I bought. $400+ of groceries. We can afford it, but it is just a bit surprising. When I saw the total, I assumed that I must have accidentally added something besides groceries. I went through my list and verified it was right. Then I hit submit and gave thanks for the ease of obtaining food.

EOD analysis - a really good day.
I used the emotional worksheet a few times today. I think it is good for me to stop and check in with what I am feeling. I am somewhat surprised how helpful it was. I do not expect every day to be this good, but it certainly was a nice way to start the process of tracking my mental health.
