DS16 is launched for his first trip driving in the big city without an adult. My advice to him =
** Pay attention to your surroundings and lanes of traffic. Team up with your girlfriend to be aware of map location and directions.
** You will make mistakes. Remain calm. Get off at the next exit. Regroup and start again.
** Have some fun!

Happening in the kitchen today -
** Breakfast (egg, bacon, hot links, bagels, potatoes)
** Shrimp
** Chicken Fried steaks
** Chicken parmesan
** Salisbury Steak.
** Rice - making extra to use in two dishes. Mexican rice and Chinese fried rice.

RR, I locked last month's topic this a.m. when I started the February topic. Are you trying to get in February? LadyM posted in the Feb thread earlier.

5 of the dishes I plan to cook today are done. I am waiting for the meat to thaw for the last 2 dishes before I finish cooking for the day. I love being creative in the kitchen. Just start cooking and figure it out. I did watch a YT video about making Chinese fried rice before I started because it has been so long since I made/ate this dish. After I finished cooking, I gave DH a taste of each one and asked what I should change. He said they were perfect and to not change a thing. Awe. Nice guy.

I introduced DH to Madam Secretary show yesterday. He has never watched it so started binge watching it. When he takes a break to do something else, he comments what a good show it is. I agree.

In between doing other things, I am watching Peter Santenello latest YT video. I like the way he presents information with minimum opinion about a wide range of subjects. Do I need to watch a video to learn about prison? No! LOL But here I am watching it and learning things I didn't know that would fascinate me.

Not sure why, but it's down the list for me. If you click on the Board index above and go to Healthy Habit, you'll see to the right where LadyM posted there earlier. If you click on the blue showing the last post it will take you there. I don't know if I inadvertently made a mess!

Or I use the "Quick links" above where it says Board index. One of the options there is "Active topics." That shows a list of the last posts on the board and Feb Health and Fitness is a several items down. So sorry!

February Health and Fitness. Can you get to it using this link?

We are having another beautiful weather day. I have been to the garden a half dozen times just because I can.

DS16 made the 1hr 16minute drive to big city mall according to Life360. **Big sigh of relief** Another first accomplished. At what point will I quit worrying about his teenage driving? Who knows. I don't seem to stress about things that he has done before, but only the new things. Hopefully, he will accumulate enough life skills so I can relax and know I have done my part.

Dd called we chatted briefly she is busy but doing good.
As am I.

I have processed a booklet of notes.
Did a day on the work book I've started.
Processing info. I've learned.
My brain needs a break.
Bible lesson part will be Sun.

Considering a new recipe I saw on the cream cheese box sausage stuff crescents.
Purged another planner.

feels like 31* out with the wind so I'll do the gazelle for my exercise later.
Had soup & a roll, these are wedge shaped as the pan was square, still tasty for lunch.
