Morning routines done as well as two videos and some floor Exersize’s. My Mesa trainer would be proud. Now for a shower and wash my hair

Sweetie has been doing lots of things around here.. took out trash, watered our new tree, treated our pool for algae and wash the morning dishes and put them away. Now he’s gathering all the things we need to take to our new tax person here. The only way you can tell he has Alzheimer’s is when at times you try to talk to him.

And yes Blesses he falls a sleep multipul times when he’s watching tv or is watching something on his computer

Twins… we don’t use our pool year round but the water still evaporates so that’s why we needed to add so much salt. We have a salt water in the community that stays heated all year round at 84*

Things are progressing here. Sauce is simmering and I made brownies. Breadmaker is going.

Twins reminds me of brownies ~ but no room now & I need to decide on the pan and the one I"m thinking of
is full of stuff for the ddoggo ; that I need to cook up. Just remembered the muffin tin idea not sure but will wait a day on them.
I have chicken ready to go when rolls have raised enough they are in the oven. Did up the dishes & need to put em away in a bit.
I was surprised that only took 1/2 hr. I am amazed!
I did adjust the oven racks for future cooking today.

It was fresh smelling when I went outside and did the snow clearing off the patio and the rest of the deck.
Snow has stopped but its still a mucky slick mess on the street I think slush is worse in some aspects than ice.
Got my steps in for this part of the day.

OMM / dd asked me if I still needed two rigs yesterday.
My reply was yes I am still using both of them and I used the truck this month to hauls the TV.
And am grateful to have the Jeep that runs now till the battery issue is resolved in the truck.
It is not a hardship having two of them.
Plus I would feel bad seeing the empty spot in the carport.
My thinking is the car up the street has three or four rigs I did let go of the old 74 Ford & glad for that as it was
out in the.

I saw the price of eggs mentioned here yesterday but couldn't respond because the internet was not stable.
Our local small grocery store eggs are 8.85 a dozen.
WMart is $5.46 a dozen.
Sam Club is $4.12 a dozen
Many locals who raise chickens are selling their eggs $3 to $5 a dozen.
The price is widely different depending on where you purchase the eggs. From $3 to almost $9 a dozen.

I am making good progress on daily tasks. There is no way I could stay up with them if I didn't have a system to check them off as they are completed.

Dh and I both slept for a bit. We also both read for quite a while.

When I got up I was craving a tuna w/mayo and black pepper sandwich. I am almost finished mine. Much to my surprise dh asked for one as well. I didn't think he was much of a fan of tuna sandwiches.

I've had 2 blunders in the last 24 hours in keeping things in stock.
I reached for a new box of sandwich baggies from our panty......there wasn't any.
Today DS16 said we are out of toothpaste. NO way.....I went to show him our toothpaste stash only to find it empty.
ARGH! The rule is to put item on the shopping list when you take the last one out of our stockpile. Appartently someone has been lax in doing this.
I usually check the sales when I am placing an online order and stock up on pantry items when they are on sale. Apparently I need to be more vigilant on checking sale prices.
So many moving parts to keep up with.

I honestly tried not to look when I bought eggs this week. We buy 18 at a time, which probably reduces the price a little, but I'm getting the cheaper eggs now.

Taking a little break. Challah is in the oven, brownies done and need slicing, and I need to get started on the onion mushroom filling and get the lasagne together. I think I'll have enough for three 8 inch pans. The one who had surgery is back in hospital so it's one adult at home plus three kids, plus whoever else might be there to allow the home parent to go to hospital now and then.

I read on Facebook earlier that a towboat wasn't able to control his barges in the current earlier - this is near where dfriends have the condo - and the barges, by swinging out, took out some docks and wall. Doesn't appear to be in their area, and their dock is in a little slough so it's not vulnerable. Picture just now of towboats on each end of a barge train keeping them corralled. We've had so much rain that the dams are releasing a lot of water downstream to keep flooding down.

Dear truck-farming cousin is selling his eggs at his highest ever premium price at farmer's market in city these days ds tells me. But he deserves it. He keeps his hens/eggs proven completely organic and free-range, works hard, keeps an additional flock of guineas for protection, his border collies for protection. The regular egg dozen we bought recently at grocery was $5.

I almost never buy from cousin, because he will give me big discounts and I know he could get more for whatever it is if I will just leave him alone and let him sell at market. We do buy his honey, but ddolder found out how much he sells for and puts the money in his mail so he can't very well refuse.

Nancy, another benefit of having a second vehicle, especially one that a casual observer could reasonably expect might be driven by a man, is safety. When you go out, another vehicle is still there. At night, two vehicles are parked at your home, etc. Just a thought.

I also did some cooking today - nothing so extensive as cooking for teens. Using up the fresh produce, though.

I also have a utility trailer int he driveway I use from time to time.

I have walked and packaged up Sunday dinner lunch actually left overs.
Did some clean up.

Mild out 37* and could freeze tonight so night travel is dicey not going out.
I did two sections on a dish cloth this morning.
Tried making a snow man just got the base done.
Will try for the next part in a while after my knitting show.

Saw a 5' tall snow man on our walk and a snow gal with purple tulle net skirt.
