Had a good day, dh and I took dgs out to the Spoons for lunch, he seems to expect it now but he behaves well. I got little done in the house. I have a cold and cough and was thinking to stay home from church but dh just told me I am on welcome duty so will have to be there early, he is on coffee duty so he can cough all over the biscuits while I cough over people at the door. I have put my alarm on - I am not good with mornings.

lol, vergerswife, wear an attractive Sunday-go-to-meeting mask! How old is dgs?
Does watching Hoarders count as studying? I always seem to get up during the commercial and do something.
I used to enjoy that about that show - inspirational!
My book came yea!
Not been written in either luv that.
Best kind - finding a used book and anticipating arrival. Cheerful.
I wrapped WonderBoy's gift of a book today, but he wants new programming books, so I just do what is on his wishlist. Found him one that is lightheartedly written, at least. Folding money as a bookmark because I'm not feeling imaginative and can't figure out his other potential choices. Very plain wrapping, nothing special - doesn't look like me although HRH insists it looks great. Usually I would have made it look festive.
Got a bill ready for the mail.
Ds and dgdC came by and ds finished all his work at the steps. DgdC had her first softball scrimmage game yesterday and they won 8 to 4. Ds says she hits harder than anyone else. Happy for her to have something she enjoys so much.
Ddolder family away at WonderBoy's soccer, but she did text that he made their first point and it was 1 to 0 then. Able to tell his uncle ds, but then I never heard more.
She did call and chat a long time yesterday. She had been to the dentist and got a good report - she has always called to tell me that all her life, lol. She says there was a new xray - have ya'll experienced this?
A gun-like camera for which the technician does not even leave the room, just aims and takes a "photo"? Gee, seems chancy to me, but then I have always hated having those things in the mouth, hurting.
