Oh no, Nancy! I am lost without my glasses! Dh and I were just talking about how I broke my glasses in the fall in Europe and had to come home in sunglasses. I hope you have some older backup glasses somewhere if you're as blind as I am.

I think I've only seen the two newer kinds of xrays at my dentist recently.

I need to CUOP (catch up on posts) from yesterday, I was too tired last night to register when I looked in before bedtime.

We were at the river the afternoon into evening. Talked, read, hung out and watched the wildlife. I received in the mail, just before he went out, a new book on early Quaker records, while V read I scanned the book and marked the places that I need to pay attention to. Some new sources, new info. So I was studious along the way!

I am so distracted this morning - dh is back for now, ds called, ddog underfoot, and still some things to wash up/clear away from Friday night.

I don't know what I need today. Church for one. Leaving in less than an hour for that. I don't know if a day of not doing anything is going to even help. I can still be tired. And i don't know if I will get that anyway. With post op for dad.

Um... priming? Nope who was I to think I was going to get a day to do what I want. I managed to clean up the dust on the floor and mop it. Brought my leftovers for lunch for mom and dad. Dealt with laundry and shower for him. Took his meat home and made them supper and out there again... I spent half the day out there again.

We did find the solution for the mold issue. We built that part of the house over 10 years ago and mostly did it ourselves. Somehow we left a gap in the ceiling insulation over top of that end wall by misaligning the cardboard barriers for it. A strip right along the whole wall that made condensation. Had to take the soffit off the outer and put more insulation in from there. Problem solved thankfully but it was bad and ds room was the worst. Almost tried to start in dd room tjat is the guest room. While they used it at new years. The guest room is done cause it's perfect the way dd had it when she moved out. Ds15 old room is done as my craft room once we move him out I can put up shelves and store my craft stuff.

Just have to paint the bigger room for ds15. Yup he's probably 5 7 or 8 even now. Just noticed he's obviously taller than his auntie the other day.

Woke up to a yucky 2 inch layer of gross wet snow this morning. It's going to be so messy later.

Lauralind, I don't remember whether you've looked in to our Arts and Crafts (you know, right now I can't seem to remember anything!) but we do have that thread monthly. I have a crafting desk set up - my deal is papercrafting i.e. making cards using pretty papers and stamps. My room is the over the garage bonus room and I also have a genealogy desk and lots of bookcases storing crafty stuff and genealogy books and resources. I've been purging my supplies and cleaning up in anticipation of dh retiring in June and the room becoming my refuge. Our kids are out of the house - dd's old bedroom is the guest bedroom and ds's old bedroom is dh's "office" which he used during COVID until his incessant phone calls drove me crazy and him back to the office.

I've updated calendar for this week and some to-dos for tomorrow. I wrote down a few OMMs yesterday while at the river.

I will try for three things without wandering off somewhere...
-finish clearing kitchen island
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper: scan to save digitally, file in proper place, or straight to recycle bin
-whoops  oral care

Church was combined service today. The early service was later. The later service was earlier. I like to change things up but appreciate that not everyone embraces change. They can rest easy knowing that regular times and services return next Sunday.

DS16 and GF are cleaning up the yard that has DS16 stuff scattered around. He reminds me of myself. I can unintentionally leave a trail of stuff behind me without trying. I start thinking about something else and it just seems to happen.

DS51 is sending pictures of their time in croatia. Beautiful scenery. The streets, cafe tables, park benches, beaches, etc are empty because not being tourist season.

I have the kitchen things done for the day.

The wind is 30mph which means I have to hang onto things while working in the garden. If I set anything down for a moment it will blow over. It doesn't seem to be stopping my joy though. I have made 4 trips to the garden so far today.

So glad you're getting outside time in spite of the wind LadyM. Walking this morning in the sunshine was nice.

And always glad to see Kathryn coming through this morning too.

Butterfly, glad you liked the start - some days we feel inspired, some days we don't!

Doing three things was successful so I'll try again.
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper from the basket on the kitchen counter.
-do the Zepbound injection

Off I go. Of course, I'm subject to interruption with dh around.

It's been a full day, with church, coffee with DF E afterwards and then back home to cook roast lunch. I had a long chat with DF CW who lives opposite, and who is having a particularly difficult time ATM. I'm now watching Quartet with DH with Matilda on my lap.

Did an umbrelly walk with ddoggo after lunch.
I have cleared off the bed from cloths that were stacked on the chair;
got them hung up except for one outfit for tomorrow! Yea.
Did some reading & took notes.
Heading out to sweep the driveway soon as it stops with the liquid sunshine.
We finished our walk.
Desk needs cleared off maybe later in the week.

I did find the arts and crafts. I still have to find my craft project list I was working on. I'm being slow with my blanket. A few stitches at a time atm.

Missed some of the morning service but that will be something I could see tomorrow while searching for something to watch. The rest was very nice.

Yes, Kathryn, there is a sort of beginning to tomorrow, with some preparation already done. Plenty still on the calendar, too.

We are disappointed that dstepson tried to visit us but must have knocked at some particular moment in which neither of us could hear him, so we missed having that visit. Usually, we hear vehicles as well. Will have to tease him about the doorbell around the front, which he replaced himself.

Sorry about the glasses, Nancy. Glad you have some solutions.
