It's snowing where I am. It looks like a snowglobe getting shaken. Very pretty. Glad I am inside and not out driving somewhere.

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
I have trouble thinking of other things while listening to this webinar. I can either tune it out mostly and do other things, or try to function in this distracted state, which seems to be where I am most of the time anyway. I watched/listened to the first session downstairs and did an Instacart order, watered a plant, and finished my brunch.

Yesterday I left my CPAP at the sleep doctor. Realized that when I started to set it up and go to bed, so I need to use a lot of my lunch hour to go pick it up. And grocery delivery is between 3 and 5 so I'll have to step away from the class then also.
I love Harriet's correlation of "write it down" with our cardfile.
Cathy, what if you're completely out of something and you or dh threw away the packaging before you got the photo? Love the snow when it's big fluffy flakes!
Nancy, loved the Crown series. Sorry phone call with dd was stressful.
LadyM, glad you're getting some rain too! The drought is still ongoing here.
Lauralind, you have a lot going on with your parents. Sorry your day off is stressful. We're always here to listen!
bw2. so happy your dmom is home, and I'm glad she liked the "hotel."
RR, I always keep the ongoing grocery list too. Glad Sweetie is okay, perhaps he needed extra sleep?

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
My email inbox has been overflowing.
Interruptions: one of the interruptions yesterday was to tell me that our backflow device was busted from freezing. So that needs to be attended to. Dh was all fussy when he got home about how the lawn service was supposed to take care of it and they didn't and it's their fault and they should do it. Lawn guy told me that dh told him that dh would turn off the water anyway. And I get in the middle, so I told dh yesterday that I'd just deal with it - I couldn't take the drama. Another little project to deal with before I leave on Sunday.
Lunch break time - I need to head out to get CPAP. I usually walk the dog a lap at this time also, don't know if I'll have time.
So I'm heading out. My head does not feel very clear.

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
I leave in a couple of minutes for my chair exercise class.
I have updated and backed up Quicken and made sure all credit card bills are paid so I don't have to think of those until after I get back (I'll have 3 new statements by that time but all payments will be due 10 days after we get back.)
So something has been accomplished but none of the things I need to write down!

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
Hello! A lot of important things going on in people's lives, and I can't keep them in my brain long enough to reply properly. Did want to offer belated (((hugs))) to Nancy on the anniversary of her husband's passing. Can it really be five years already?
My brain is buzzy, and, ironically, writing things down is at fault, in a way. For payroll, I am supposed to be putting together an outline for a guide to design standards for the various educational documents. Well, I started by breaking the documents down into each of their elements. My line of thinking was, "What would I need to know if I were putting these things together without the art director to guide me?" Well, I broke things down too far, and now I can't see the forest for the trees. So I need to take a step back. I'd like to have this done in the next week, because after that, things on the other project will start coming to me to edit.
Nice to meet Lauralind!
Well, the "next thing" for me is to clean up after my lunch -- and, after that, to clean up after the crockpot I put together for dinner. It's a new recipe, and it took longer than I expected, so I had to rush from getting things together to a meeting, and I left much of the mess there. I did putter a little while waiting for lunch to cook, so it's not a total madhouse, but it's not something I want DH coming home to. Have a good day, everyone!

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
Twins' Mom there have been times when there has been a package missing. Last week it was Hot Chocolate. Thankfully with my alphabetical organizing, just taking a picture of the space was enough. The HC lives between the Hamburger Helper and the Jello. Taking a picture of the spot with the jello showing was enough of a prompt. Same with onions and potatoes. They are in the potato box, so I open the little door and take a picture. If there are dried onion skins, I need onions. If not, I need potatoes.
I fell asleep watching the snow falling and swirling around. Oops. Dh also had a nap. We are such seniors. Yesterday we ate supper at 4:30!!
Psst... a little birdie on the internet sent me a picture of one of the new billboards in Georgia/Alabama somewhere. Apparently they are in other states as well.

After Lunch CI /
After I listened to a pod cast and took some notes.
Knit up a section of a new color dish cloth got 4 points done 3.5 done with this one. Now to the half way point.
Warmest day on record possible today so I had my lunch a chicken sandwich on the deck.
Went out and did yard work 15 min. a section at a time on hoeing the driveway will take a week or so on the front.
Good for sunshine and being in nature too.
Noticed my purple leaf plum is just starting to get a few blooms on one branch.
Got some fun flower vids on our walk and in my yard today.
I have rinsed and refilled Bird bath.
Watered most of the bulbs one patch of them still to do.
Rested after feeling puny doing better now.
Unplugged the sink before I could to dishes.
Mopped up in the bathroom when toilet did not shut off it was from the tank part.
Filled the mower with fuel, added oil and mowed the tall spots in the front yard.

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
Home again, walked the dog a lap and back to webinar. I did eat the last of the lasagne earlier for my lunch.
Instacart shopper has checked out so delivery should be soon.
-----
Later.
Refrigerated groceries are put away
ddog has a "lick mat" smeared with peanut butter and yogurt for her entertainment
My head is spinning with listening. This particular session does not have a syllabus so I feel I should pay attention.
I seem to have a headache going every afternoon. I added some electrolyte stuff to my water, took two advil and Mucinex (in cases sinuses are involved, my nasal passages are always running.)

I'm in waiting room while DH gets heart echo test. DS16 is picking DD13 up from school for me.
After we leave here we will pick up DH prescriptions and the items on the Shopping list. I might get a couple pizza from sams deli. They are a easy way to feed the teens. There will be 2 extra teens at our home this evening.

Re: Write it down Wednesday PWYC
I need to get to the grocery store but will have to find something to eat for dinner from the freezer since the rush hour traffic is really heavy today and so the roads are backed up to get into our neighbourhood. Dh would just walk over to the store instead but I have a lot of canned goods on my grocery list.
Dh just texted me to wear a mask when I pick him up tomorrow. From our text conversation last night, I had already planned to. Exhausted, headache, sore throat were his symptoms and he was off to bed at 8:30. I nearly asked but then thought he'd roll his eyes. Today he's off to bed at 4:30 so obviously really sick. If I get it, it will be just as we are leaving on our trip. In the meantime, he'll have to miss dgd16's birthday dinner on Saturday.
He also told me about the EU giving notice to everyone to have 72 hours of supplies on hand. That freaked him out. I pointed out that was standard civil emergency preparedness and we have enough water, batteries, canned food and way to heat up canned food on hand as well as radios and flash lights. I said if I'm told to stock up on drones and how to make Molotov cocktails, then I'll start worrying. BTW: my plan is to attack invading forces from my balcony. And I'm old, I'm perfectly willing to make a kamikaze attack to protect others.
I'll have an early dinner and then head over to the store before the pharmacy closes. Over dinner I'll make up my grocery list.
