Glad you can look in Harriet, and glad you're finding some pleasure in your day out too.

Successful conga dance line out including hair cut and most errands. By the time I was done with most I decided to head on home, I needed the bathroom and lunch. Left for maybe tomorrow are gassing up the car, washing and cleaning car, and possibly putting the pool permit for the neighborhood in the pool area. Or if I remember I could take the pool permit up there when I walk ddog later. It can wait too, the pool isn't even open. I was considering taking the printed "booklet" (remember I was doing that a couple of weeks ago) to be bound, but I'd probably have to leave it and pick it up tomorrow and I'll just deal with it. I have a big clip to keep it all in order and so I can flip through it. (Advantage of binding it is that it would lie flat so I could refer to it more easily.)

Dh went to Costco earlier - I see shrimp, ribs, or a rotisserie chicken in the refrigerator for our supper and a big bag of salad. He said he would probably go over to A and V's and help A with the new boat lift. I'm not sure where he is in the installation - I could suggest some things that dh could do here but I don't think it would be welcomed right now. :D Maybe I'll take a little nap.

Dh reminded me tomorrow that we're going to the matinee performance of Hadestown here. I was originally planning to leave earlier on this trip but put it off for this. We did see it in NY but I think will be interesting to see in smaller venue where we're closer. Of course, it's not the same production company.

Kathryn, when did dh first feel symptoms? I hope he's better, what did you decide about quarantining?

Cathy, do grocery stores get busier than normal when there's forecasted snow and ice?

Oh MY, Lucylee, glad you got dmom to the ER. We will be thinking of her for a quick diagnosis and return to health, and thinking of you and your mental health in this. Is this ddil's hospital?

Lots of conga-ing out of the house for LadyM today also. I hope you find pleasure in your garden today!

And now...a nap. I deserve it.

Twins, ddil was able to help out a little in the ER, but she is only working here as needed on weekends. They no longer admit overnight patients, and will probably shut down the ER in a few months. But ddil met us up here, and we will soon be moving her to larger hospital in Next Town. That’s good, because her pulmonologist is on staff there.
Ddil is working at a nursing home now, and wouldn’t you know it — this is her weekend to work Saturday and Sunday.
AND ds is out of town till late Sunday night.
So — how we will manage dgrands is something we will have to work on. Other grandparents may be able to keep them, but also, we need to go to dbil’s party tomorrow night, AND dh’s cousin’s wife’s funeral will be Sunday.

DS16, GF and DD13 are out the door to the city. They are doing a couple errands for me and I will buy their meal at any place they choose to eat. It is a Win! Win!

I need some quiet. I need some down time without anyone needing something or asking me for a decision about this or that. 30 minutes of quiet would be fantastic. An hour would be a dream.

DD13 had an emotional moment earlier today. This shy, quiet, autistic teen came out of her bedroom and started YELLING at me for absolutely no reason. I remained calm, listened to her, responded with kind words and the episode was over in a few moments with DD13 crying. Once she calmed down, she wrote me a two page letter which I believe will be a great help in dealing with her emotions that she doesn't know how to process. I called and got us a meeting with her counselor on Monday so we can go over this outburst and letter in detail. I suspect this might be a breakthrough in DD13 mentally blocking out the abuse that happened to her a decade or so ago. I welcome suggestions and am open to changes in how to best help DD13.

In other ways the day was awesome. All the projects have been accomplished.

LadyM… if your daughter was able to put her feeling an emotions down in a letter, perhaps you could pay for any journal of her choosing so she can continue to write. Perhaps a journal with lock and key so she would feel her private writings were safe would appeal to her as well.

I am not exactly sure why I am so slow today - can't seem to focus.

took dh to the dr. - I don't think he is doing all that he should be doing. His blood pressure was 85/65 which they say is low - his oxygen is great. They struggled through three nurses in getting blood out of him - he is dehydrated (thinking dh is not using water like he should be. He still can't drink or eat - not sure if he is fibbing that he is getting enough fluids.
At least the one nurse was able to get some blood.

mom not exercising is causing her to be less agile.

I had a much needed break and feel ready to dance through the rest of the day.

The teens had a successful trip to do errands for me and won't need to be fed again for a couple of hours.

DD13 has a huge collection of journals. I'm guessing close to 40 journals. I believe that most of them are filled with drawings and writings. She picks out a new journal almost every time we are in a book store or HLobby. I never look in her journals unless she shares something she wrote or drawed. She knows everything in her bedroom including her journals is off limits to everyone. I have always promised the teens to never lie to them and I never want to break their trust.

DH just came inside and asked "Does the lawn mower need a key? I can't get it to start" I explained it doesn't use a key to start, but is started by putting a code in the number pad. He asked what the code was and I truthfully told him that I didn't remember so would have to look it up. (I have it written in a password file). I reminded DH that DS16 mowed our yard 2 days ago so it will be fine for a few more days. DH still wanted to mow so I had to tell him that the zero turn mower is too powerful and quick for him to drive. I gently told DH about the accidents that happened last summer and our decision for him to not drive it anymore. DH said he didn't remember any of that, but seemed to accept the information received. How long will DH remember this conversation? That is an unknown.
