Getting here late - but I've been busy. It's already 11 a.m. and I haven't showered - or prepped for class. BUT I have ordered bedding for Mom, done more editing on the chapter, had a 1 hour payroll meeting, reclaimed the kitchen, and had some QT. I need to be otd in 2.25 hours. I'm "on", teaching or giving an exam, 1:30 - 5 pm this afternoon. Well, I do have 30 minutes between 3:30 and 4 to tidy up my classroom, drive home, and set up for the exam. We're going to a friends' home at 6:30 for dinner. I'm going to try to get in a jog between the exam and dinner. I think I'll just jog in the neighborhood for time's sake.

Have a good day at payroll, helian. Our wildlife is small so not to worry. Our wild turkeys are scared of people so no attacks here either.
I forgot my wild turkey story yesterday. We bought a property last year and when we drove up to view it there was a flock of wild turkeys walking around and they few off in unison. Beautiful sight. Feels like a blessing.
Kittykatt, seems like going through photos have replaced going through emails these days. I need to print out copies of mine to keep. I’ve heard even digital versions lose quality. And who knew google would run out of space. That’s good to know. Hugs for you as you view Trifle pics.
We are waiting in line to get our taxes done. Not a lovely thing but necessary so saying hi while I wait. After this we get to do whatever we want so will explore some, eat lunch, and work in the yard this evening. I’m loving the cool weather.

Good morning/ good afternoon, Helian, Trissy and Bama.

Helian, you've got lots done already today! BIL is staying tonight and tomorrow night and going home first thing Sunday. I'm hoping tomorrow will be another lovely sunny day, S that will encourage them to go out again!

Trissie, that cake looks amazing! I'm not sure about Jude's dress sense, but she always keeps herself looking very smart, so maybe she does know what's what sartorially- wise!

Bama, I'm embarrassed to say I have managed to fill 15GB with pictures on Google Photos, mostly of the cats! I think that the "free" allowance. You can buy more storage, but I think I need to "digitally declutter " first, to see howuch space I *really* need! I have prints made on the "proper" photographic paper (Snapfish and Free prints both give me free prints each month - I just pay postage), which I then keep in albums with acid free paper, so I do have a "hard" hopefully long lasting copy as well as in digital storage on Amazon and Google. (Amazon has unlimited storage for photos, but I really should clear that out sometime as well, to get rid of all the pictures that aren't any good. )

My email inbox is down to zero!!! I still have to deal with all the sun folders, but that will require more attention.

I've had a very good time in my garden, and I think I'm finally going for my walk now, to make the most of the evening sun.

Good appointment. DD32’s numbers are up even more and the numbers we don’t want up look okay too. So far so good. The drive was not fun since it rained the whole two hours up and two hours back but we made it both ways safely. Her insurance should be fine Trissie. We both have Medicare and excellent secondary insurance through the school system I used to work for. DD32 qualified for the school system insurance for her life. We could end up with issues with her funding for the center since that is covered with some of the funds that could be cut but we are in a state that prioritizes services for elderly and disabled citizens so it is hard to tell. Worst case scenario she would be home which wouldn’t make her happy but is doable especially since I am retired.

I picked up my tulip subscription and at least it is cheery inside the house even though it is rainy and dreary outside.
