Twins' Mom I was also shocked when I read the news last year. IIRC it was very early on Saturday morning.
I finally managed to get back to sleep this morning.
Because dh and I got so much done yesterday, today is like a day off. Dh can't decide on what he wants for supper.

Thank you all for the hugs and sweet thoughts.
Last night was tough, but I’m okay today.
I’m at the ballpark, at a tournament. Dgd played at 8:00, and will play again at 12. If they lose then, they are through, but if they win, they will play again later. Dgs is already bored and hoping they lose, LOL.
We could leave and come back, but the parking situation is awful, and I don’t want to give up my spot!
Just had a total come apart — realized I thought I was answering ds last night, privately, and OH MY GOODNESS— I commented on a POST in Facebook. First time I’ve ever done that. It wasn’t TERRIBLE but I’m afraid it will cause hurt feelings with some friends if they saw it. It was about football in our town.
I was really having a meltdown but ds and ddil were able to log in for me and delete it. One mutual friend had “liked” my comment and the main post had 25 reactions, but I don’t know how many people saw it. SMH.

I remember because I was already home, probably on Monday evening or Tuesday, because of flying home after the broken wrist. Lucy, you have done so well this year. You're progressing at your own pace, doing all the right things.
It's turning into busy weekend. Art festival this afternoon, Seder tonight, ds here to do on his tax return in the morning, A and V at the river tomorrow afternoon. Dh is done with bowling on Sunday p.m. so he'll be home tomorrow night.

Prayers of love and strength to you, lucylee. (((Hugs))) I hope your FB slip up is all well.
Had a busy week — much work. I did get done by the deadline, though I got the file a day late. Now I will have a week of little or nothing, unless they want to proceed further with the project I did the outline for. I can use the week to get caught up on the laundry; I’ve fallen behind again.
Today was my town’s semiannual shred day. I had a box that was nearly overflowing because I missed the last two. (Actually, I didn’t miss the last one; it missed me. I was still waiting in line when they closed up shop.) It actually turned out to be fortunate that the papers hadn’t been shredded yet. I was able to go through the box and find where my insurance paid the last time I had the same procedure I had recently. This time they’re paying less than half, leaving me on the hook for about $12K. So I’m hoping these papers will help in my appeal.
DH and DD are at the hockey team’s final game of the season today. It remains to be seen if they will make the postseason. They can help their position greatly if they win in regulation today, but it will still depend on what the other teams do.

We went to the Arts festival. Saw lots of people we knew, I purchased a small leather card holder that I can slip into my pocket when I need to. When I went to the library last week, I ended up putting my card holder into my pocket (credit card for breakfast and lunch, library card and drivers license into my pocket and it was bulkier. So this is an easy solution. I could leave my purse back in the room because i had valuables. If I needed something, the hotel was a short walk back.
We also bought a small piece of art. It's perfect in our house - dh has already hung it.
Headachy from late lunch perhaps, may try for a nap again today, lol. Dh is watching the Masters.

Still not feeling up to my normal self so did part of a walk.
Did some laps in the back yard too.
Sheets are dry and ready to be folded 3 trips down stairs & back up.
Store run to the market has my steps up to 3/4th of the way done at one so I"m okay with that.
The winds had me rethinking my walking distance & route.
If they die down I"LL do a lap around the block to finish.
Had deli food for lunch today.
-----
Had an early dinner.
Then raked the piles of weeds up so I can park there when they deliver the stove.

DS16 had called twice to ask permission to expand the teens outing. There are 4 teens in the vehicle on the speaker phone talking almost at the same time while they are explaining where & what they want to do. I approved both of the requests. They are kind hearted so I am hoping DD13 is having a good time, feels comfortable and included. They have left the bowling place and moved on to miniature golf. I am not sure of the correct name. We used to call it putt-putt and some call it mini golf.
I keep modifying the set up for the goldfish. I am attempting to use some of the hydroponic supplies I have on hand to grow plants on top of the water. Every time I try something that doesn't work then I find a solution to why it won't work. Rinse and repeat. I do enjoy the creative and problem solving aspect of this project.

Am going to start a nuts and bolts cardfile thread. Totally open to changes to it as I am not on my game.
