It's okay to drive a "minivan" LadyM. Just tease ds16 that it might be his someday! LOL!!

Nice to see MysteryWoman!

I'm missing RRose, Blessedw2 and Harriet. Hope everyone is okay.

Here's an early wave to LucyLee who posts when I'm sleeping. :)

So glad to have that bag of paperwork here!! Cats have all been carefully sniffing it all over. The accountant has a dog. The bag also smells a bit musty. I looked through the bag and nothing seems to be missing. He DID check the entire 2023 and tallied up all the numbers without having to re-do any of it. Too bad I won't be balancing the book for him anymore. He actually taught me a lot.

Time for bed.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Waving back, Cathy!
It hasn't been a "fabulous" day, but it was okay.

Festival -- HOT. Even at 10:00-11:00 A.M. I am quite sunburned on my neck.

Funeral -- CROWDED. Probably took 45 minutes to get through the line. The church, which is a large church, added chairs in the aisle, and there were people standing in the back of the church. Sad, because the mother of the deceased, who was a high school/lifetime friend of my ddad, was not in attendance. Her dementia apparently is such that some in attendance said she would probably not be told about her son's death.

Softball tournament -- AS EXPECTED. We lost soundly -- 15-1, I believe. DGD only batted once, and was out on a fly ball. The girl right after her had the same luck. I would say 9 out of 10 times, this does not happen in 8-under softball, but now I will say 8 out of 10 times. LOL. OTOH, rec league softball serves its purpose -- dgd is a much better hitter and all-around player this year than she was last year, her team got rings for finishing 2nd in the county tournament, and when it was all over, dgd asked ds, "Who won?"

We came home, she assembled her Mother's Day presents for ddil... I must say, DS has really dropped the ball on this, as dgs has nothing for his mom, and ds has not pushed the issue. But dgd is probably making up for it. All sorts of homemade cards and things she's done at school and church.
She has had a bath and is asleep now, and I plan to follow soon.

Tomorrow is more of the same at the festival, but I bet I'll be wearing sunscreen. SMH.

Waving to EVERYONE!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

I talked to both kids today & my sister.
Told my dson I wanted a 3' tomato plant this year instead of flowers &
he said he could do that.
B/c of rain on Sun. no need for a BBQ or what ever outside like they usually do.
He had a rough week.
