Successfully procrastinated for 45 minutes (I call it "rest", and rest is important, right?) and now I gotta get moving and continue moving till bedtime, because DH needs to pack and DS has homework and a test tomorrow and half of upstairs is a mess and things from the scout trip have not been put away properly and... and... and I am going to be serene and calm and just get it done, right?

I've finished for the day, unless DH decides he doesn't want to cook supper after all. (He offered to make his yummy mushroom soup earlier.) I have my useful spaghetti and quick homemade tomato sauce recipe as a back up. DF HT dropped the rose off, and we had read and coffee cake in the garden. Ive cleaned the sitting room, and the patio doors, and found an adapter so Dnextdoorneighbour C can charge the gizmo that EE have sent her so she can get internet while she is waiting for the work to finally be done to connect her.

DF SW has decided she doesn't want to organise parish lunch anymore.
Ive offered to take it on, but only if we can go somewhere other than the College (the College takes a lot of organisation, they want everyone 's menu choices well in advance, and they also made some changes this year, which many people don't like, also many people don't like the style of food at the College -it's very "fancy", and numbers have been dropping. When we visit other venues, the numbers recover! We'll see what happens. I think it's really important to keep the monthly parish lunch going, for the social side, if nothing else

I'm going to feed the kitties, and then see what DH wants to do about supper

Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.
