LadyM sometimes you just need to get away from the house for a while. Sometimes it's for errands, but it can be for fun and making memories as well.

I went to the bank and the grocery store. I watched some of the Trooping of the Colour. Trying to stay away from news and other stuff today.

So very sorry Vergerswife, and praying for you and your family. Such a sad time for all of you.

I've chosen to putter today. A little stampin, a little genealogy.

Thanks to kittykatt for sharing your post, vergers. I remember you from times past on the she forums, and always appreciated your wisdom. I'm so sorry to hear about your dd, and will keep your whole family in prayers. Good she was lucid enough to talk about her desires for funeral.
Peace

Ohh my vergerswife. I am so sorry. That is so hard. Poor little guy who will lose his mom. So sad.

I am so close in the flowerbed. The berries are done. Should get ready for grad in a bit over an hour. I might go see if I can get a bit more done. Completing a few things would feel good.

I have s2s then went out to the garden to water and it's a lovely day here.
Sunny & not to hot so glad for that.
Neighbor said he had killed a rattlesnake in their back yard this week.
I have seen em but not anywhere except on the road already ran over.
I appreciate the heads up as I'm out there a lot!

Got a cheese cake mix for when ever some one needs it for an occasion.

This didn't get posted previously because of knock at the door. Company stayed too long when I wasn't feeling so great, either.

vergerswife, so glad you have been able to get back and post. Gratitude that your family will have help several times a day now, and that you have each other during this time. Gratitude that your dd has lucid moments with you, and praying for the calm and centeredness of your household.

Today has been a low on my rollercoaster, which is sometimes to be expected. We knew that yesterday bloodwork was slightly less improved that it had been. Today I have been weak and dizzy-ish and had to go back to bed mid-morning. Frustrating. My ddad used to say that during recuperation we expect some good days, then a poor day, then to start on good days again, so I'm hanging on to that and the "rollercoaster" imagery of the drs.

Trying to eat well. Healthy cereal and mango, also apple. Egg and some nice peppers. I want to move away from too many eggs, but there has to be convenience, too, when you can't spend much time.

Missed a call yesterday while we were gone so long. My dgirlcousin, S, had fallen in her home the previous night and has damaged a vertebrae mid-back. Some kind of inhaled medicine/therapy has been prescribed. She's been in a lot of pain. She's one of the few I've been talking to candidly about my own medical journey. Her indoor-outdoor dog had brought a stick in from outside and had been chewing on it, left it on the floor after a lot of chewing. In the night, with lights off so as not to awaken her dh, S had gotten up, and she inadvertently stepped on it. It was such a surprising, strange wet thing to put her foot onto that she jerked her foot back awkwardly and went down.

Company had brought some groceries we don't need, stayed too long, and I guess I thought I'd already posted this. Had to go back to bed for a nap. Now I am up and looking around for something to do at the wrong hour. Nausea also - just don't know what I've done. Wondering about the mango, which worries me since we have 3 here and I was hopeful for breakfasts. Also wondering if the nausea is going along with other - dizziness earlier, for instance.

I think HRH is willing to stay up with me a while, but gee I didn't want to disrupt his sleep. We'll see.

Nancy, be careful about those rattlesnakes and think through a plan in case you or your dog are bitten - that way, with thinking about it, you're just that much more assured it won't happen! (My line and I'm sticking with it.)
