It rained. It didn't last long though. Oh, well.
I made a pasta salad for supper. I also mad a bean salad for dh. Dh took the last steak out of the freezer for supper. I think I will make baked potatoes to go with it. I'm considering making a rice pudding as well. I also made myself 2 tuna salad sandwiches and I had one already.

Waving to y’all…
Puppy woke me at 5:45am to go out this morning. I quickly got dress and headed out the door. On our walk I spotted a coyote crossing the road so we turned around and went the other way. After living all that time in the desert and seeing them up close all the time, I am not afraid of them but didn’t want to push my luck with someone else’s pup.
Came home and Coco had the zoomies! After she finished she went back to our bedroom, got back he carrier and went back to sleep for another 1.5 hours
I have a few desk things to attend to and a few other things around the house, but thankfully I am caught up with everything around here.

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Progress being made....
DH and I delivered Micro to groomer with no problems. DH has his memory of things and people from 20+ years ago so we enjoyed talking about various friends as we passed by their homes/farms.
DS16 bedroom wall has been torn out to remove all the damage. It is less than I expected. It did have pink mold....which isn't really mold but a bacteria that thrived in the moisture from the window a/c unit leaking. Once we knew the extent of the damage I met with the contractor to discuss options. We have plan A.....plan B.....and plan C. Plan A will be replacing only the inside of the exterior wall and putting in a new window. If that works, it will be the simplest fix and the one I am choosing. However, we all know anytime you are working on a 60+ year old home that repairs rarely go as planned.
DH memory loss episode is progressing right on schedule exactly like previous episodes. His fever has spiked to 101. He is resting in his recliner which is perfect for him (and me).

Millie had me up in the middle of the night too. She went out, I used the bathroom, I let her back in, and we both went back to sleep.
I can't believe that bookcase is emptied and moved. Thirty minutes? Of course, that brings up the fact that I have two IKEA bookcases 41 wide, 31 high, that are stuffed with scrapbooks and photos. A lot of the photos etc. are just loose. Will my dkids want childhood photos of their older first cousins on Dh's side, that they've met fewer than five times? Does dh ever want to get them out to look at them? Childhood photos of my dbro and dsis? I want to see some, but do their families want them?
Perhaps right now I just need to look the other way and move on. Next is to add the back to the bookcase and repaint it. It boxes in the day bed so it looks cozier. Dh said I could add it to his "Honey do" list.

Twins' Mom maybe give them a quick call and ask. Put each families into a zippered baggie and label them. Unfortunately some photos I had got damaged a couple of weeks ago and if they had been in zippered baggies, they would have been okay.

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
hello again
finished my grumpy card!
mom helped with her dishes - I put a pan filled with soapy water with her dishes on the kitchen table - she has her wheel chair
she helped me tie knots on some lace cards I bought for us. (she wrapped them up)
she didn't eat a big breakfast
and she is already taking a nap.
I am so proud that she figured out that she had to go to the bathroom. That's huge.
I pulled a game for later -
I will have her fold her laundry - anything that replicates her normal life is good. I have to think wider and more creative.
She loved the ABC fit in puzzle yesterday - she said it was fun.
dd younger figured out that having her fall asleep to tv is detrimental to mom's thinking ability. we had on her murder she wrote. now nothing from 8 on - she listens to dd's laughing and talking - that's better
I found out someone is coming at 2 pm
what I want to do:
exercise
work outside - we have cameras etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------
hello d twins - it must have been something in the air that made the dogs get up - dd Youngers dog dislikes thunder storm. He ended up throwing up on dd this morning while she was sleeping!
glad you could go back to sleep
stay safe in that weather
yay on the book case! also wonderful that you dh wants you to add painting to the honey do list.
d lady yay on progress being made!
how nice to enjoy talking about the people you liked and loved!
glad it was then you thought.
I am sorry your dh also got a fever. glad he is resting
waving at you d rose. it must be an early day for all the dogs!
zoomies - I love the zoomsies of small dogs in the house - large dogs - not so much lol
yay on catching up
hi d cathy
pasta salad sounds delicious
I love hearing about what you are cooking

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I think I will write down my next steps so that don't loose focus
mom is awake and then asleep.
I emptied the dishes - the dog bowls are sparkly clean
counters washed
I want to work outside -
dd ordered towels, etc for us (for mom) emptied them - they came
architect came over and looked at water meter - poor guy had to go into our crawl space
nice guy
mom is awake again - - it's like when your kiddos only nap a bit but spent most of their time chatting. I would love a bit longer
did another load of laundry
I still have to wash mom's sheets bc of a small accident.
dd is doing her laundry next =
what needs doing:
me exercise
s2s - I am still not washed up and dressed - in a junky shirt and shorts - I feel gross - so this will be the first thing
laundry mom's dry and we fold together
get rid of the rug in the laundry room
dh took other things out to the garbage that has been sitting on the dining room table for two weeks.
hang p top curtain in the kitchen
mom - get up and fed again
I need to make dinner and clean up.
I need to pick up the front room
add water to bird baths and water pots.
when I have the girls, to watch mom this weekend, I will stop and get propane for new grill.
