You got this, Kittykatt--Matilda's weight on track and even crossing things off the To Do List before they make it on!
A busy day for you, Gma. Do be kind to yourself when you can.
For the scooter, you know best in which situations it would be an obstacle. But one of the surprising things I have found about my cane is that it signals to the people around me that I am not being slow or awkward because I want to be important or am just oblivious. They can see that I have a problem. They change their expectations of me. If you are able to use whatever medical devices you have been assigned for your issue, the people around might adjust their expectations of how much help is reasonable to ask of you.
I'm glad that you arrived safely, helia and are in such a nice place. With bathrooms.
I have been lounging. Time to be virtuous.

helian, was the medical issue before the flight took off? (I would hate to be the RN on board for any other medical issue than a baby being born. And not too keen on that either because I wouldn't have any gloves, clamps, suction bulb, but it was my field of practise so I could do it. )
If you have any spare time, I found the underground tour very fascinating! (My sister lives on Mercer Island, just east of Seattle, in Lake Washington, so I have been there a few times. )
peaches, busy day for you.
doggedly, enjoy your lounging. yes, I have found that using my crutch is helpful in many ways
I'm back from setting up for the funeral.
And delivered the banana bread to a df - who just happened to have overnight company and was happy to get a treat!
lol is ready to flip, and I'll check the coloreds for stain treatment (mom spills alot) and get them started.
Maybe send a message to Dr through the portal, inquiring about my foot.
Lunch will be fruit, water and leftovers from Culver's.
Then go talk to the phone people
and check on dfBS

Gma, it's so fun when we get a gift right and it's so appreciated.
I have kind of had my eyes closed to avoid dealing with extra things outside of work. I have just realized that Germane's anti-heartworm pill is due today (no problem, I have them in the house) but her grooming is due this week as well. I'm not going to try to do it until after my notice is worked. I'm going to be working 11-hour days with only one-day weekends, so it's just going to be coast on everything except work until it's done.
Hi, Peaches

You are doing great, Gma and Peaches
Thursday
Put away dry dishes
Cleaned up after dog
Meds and treats for GermaneโApoquel
Cut down box to make new rinkboards for Germaneโs pee pads
Started planning
Called the animal hospital to renew Germaneโs Apoquel: the doctorโs notes say to wait until after the prescription runs out to see if the symptoms return. Leaving it for now.
Tricked Inner Brat into the shower to wash hair
Gave bathtub a quick scrub
Gave anti-heartworm medication to Germane with lots and lots of treats. The heartworm pills are now too big to hide in her food so it took multiple tries with dog food and cheese before she decided that the pill was good enough to eat. From which I conclude that heartworm pills taste better than hydrolysed protein dog food.

Hello, everyone!
Helian, I'm glad you've arrived safely, despite the "excitements" during the journey. I hope you enjoy DD's testimony.
How many more weeks do you have to work Dogged? A big WTG getting Germane's pill into her.
You've got lots done, Gma. Your banana bread sounds delicious!
Hi, Peaches!
Ive cleaned out all three spaces under the worktop. The freezer is in its new position, the bins are in their new position, but currently barricaded in by the old fridge. Being lazy, I never stripped the floor under either the fridge or freezer, and now although you can't see anything where the freezer is, it's painfully obvious in the new home for the bins. So, I e done some urgent stripping of the floorboards there, washed everything off and out the bins in place. But I don't want the cats investigating in until I've had a chance to check tomorrow. There's still a lot of work to do in there, but I'm stopping now, and having some lap time with Matilda. Tomorrow is another day!

Things to remember for Thursday:
8.30 am hygienist appointment -DH

10.30 am church

Hoover car (weather permitting!)

Drop off flapjack at the Y

Parish lunch sign up sheet on table at back of church

2pm weight loss clinic - Jude

New to us desk and cabinet supposed to arrive today - DH to help unload in garage

5-7 pm Waitrose delivery
Unpack groceries and PA

Feed everyone

Reply to C re blinds
Complete questionnaire from vets
Start moving things in kitchen. Can I swap the fridge and freezer around so the freezer is in its new place?

I'm also going to have to deal with *that* cubby hole so we can get to the socket.

Ring dentist to rearrange appointment

Strip that area of floor and wash

Maybe wax tomorrow? (Or wait until I mop the floor next?)
